Had my wifes 2019 Honda Insight tinted at Muntz. While making the the appointment and putting in a deposit for the tint appointment we stated we wanted 50/35 front and rear tint. Then when we dropped the car off they asked again what tint level we wanted and we restated this. Got the car back and it looked like it was tinted the same all around, called and was told we could bring the car in to have it metered but it should have been done right. After being metered the tint applied to the car was 50 all around. At first there was a bit of an argument, as we were then told that Muntz does not provde 35 tint, but this was never brought to our attention even though we had stated what we were looking for multiple times, and curiously even the paper work did not list the tint level applied to the car. Afterwards, Tyler, the owner of the tinting side of the business contacted me, and wanted to make the situation right, and re tinted the rear of the car with 30% tint. This was exactly the decision we would have made had we been told up front 35 was not available and Tyler was great to work with and did a fabulous job on our car. Normally I don't post reviews, but I had to in this case. Can't say enough about the quality of work and end results that Dustin and the guys did over at Muntz in Appleton. I had a remote start, Alpine powered sub and a Rockford Fosgate amp installed in my 2017 Tacoma Crew Cab. The remote start was for the cold winter mornings. Its great to have the truck warm before I get in. The sub and the amp were to help power the new speakers I installed myself over Christmas. The factory non jbl head unit just didn't have the power and sound quality I wanted even before I replaced the speakers. The factory speakers were just junk. After the work the guys at Muntz did all I can say is Wow! I had no idea what I was missing. The sound is amazing and I can adjust the base to what ever mood I'm in with the turn of a nob that was placed by the dash. If you need any kind of upgrades to your vehicle this is the place to go. I couldn’t be happier with the tint I got done at Muntz! I’ve been wanting to get the front two windows matched to the factory tint/color of the back glass on my 2024 VW Tiguan since we purchased it. Tyler knew right off the bat what tint shade would match, and when I was hesitant about paying a little more to upgrade the tint quality, he ended up just doing it out of the goodness of his heart without charging me extra for it! All the guys at Muntz make it super comfortable for a girl that knows nothing about car things to swing on by! I loved the results so much, I went again two weeks later to get my windshield done.
