Humboldt Fog is simply the best cheese on the planet, in my opinion. Bold, complex, a sensory delight of olfactory splendor, various delicate textures, and simultaneously offering mild and subtle flavor with biting grandeur in a robust rind.

The Sgt Pepper's offering is a party favorite, as is Purple Haze. And the Midnight Moon is a more conventional cheese that is broadly accessible to many palates.

They use vegetarian rennet as well, which requires no compromise on quality or flavor.

Everyone here was incredibly nice and they have a little guestbook where you can put your name and where you’re from! They don’t have a cheese shop on site but the staff was very kind and gave us a short tour of the place and also a brief history of the company. We also got a nice little goodie bag :). If you want to purchase cypress grove products, you can find them at the Arcata Co-Op five minutes away. The staff there are also super knowledgeable about Cypress cheese and can answer any questions...

Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog goat cheese is to cheese what Beethoven is to music. This is cheese making on a whole other level. Make sure to let it sit at room temperature for at least 1-2 hours before eating. The flavors are just amazing.
