I tried to call in a burger on my lunch break Friday and the man who answered the phone was incredibly rude. When trying to tell him what I did and didn't want on my burger he rudely stated everything that usually comes on there burgers. I stated "ok, well I dont want tomatoes or onions." He then said "so you want a burger and lettuce?" I continued "no, I want a bbq,bacon,cheese burger with no tomato or onion." He rushed me again and asked "is that all?" I said, "no, I want a side of onion rings with ranch." He replied, "it'll be 20 min and hung up". I called back since we never clarified the cheese on my burger. He answered, I said "hi, i just called and wanted to clarify the cheese on my burger, I'd like pepperjack." He said "ok,jalapeno pepperjack burger!" I told him" no, I dont want jalapenos or is the cheese jalapeno jack?" He replied "you ordered a jalapeno burger!" I said "no, I did not. I ordered a bbq bacon cheeseburger but never told you the cheese because you hung up on me!. He replied, "o, your right but you did say cheddar and it's already on the grill!" I’ve been coming to this stars location as my go to burger spot for the past six years. Lately, the customer service provided has seemingly gone out of the window.

I entered the restaurant at 7:30, and already all of the chairs were put up leaving nowhere to sit. Myself and another customer (the only other people besides the employees) placed our orders and the cook was visibly upset that I had ordered. I was told that I had to take my burger to go, despite the hours listing the store as open for another thirty minutes.

The part that really threw me off was when I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Not sure why I would since I’m not only not eating in the restaurant, but in fact being asked to eat elsewhere.

I’ve worked in food service, so I understand that it can be advantageous to start closing up before the closing hour, however the way that it’s currently handled by employees feels lazy and frankly unwelcoming. Maybe pack up all but one table, and leave...

This place is a joke, a waste of money a horrible service. The cashier had the audacity to ask for a TIP for just taking our order. It is rude to ask for a tip it is up to the customer to decide not for you to ask. I should not have to give you a tip for doing your job its different when you're a server at a sit down restaurant. Root beer float was $6 which is overpriced as hell. Dipping sauce for your fries is 1.50 thats insane. McDonald's charges cheaper for sauce for the same amount that they gave me. Burgers were small for the price and not well season. Do NOT order the garlic fries, not real garlic fries they microwave frozen fries and put garlic powder on them, thats not garlic fries.
