I recently found out about this restaurant. I was attending the soccer game at the AT&T stadium, they’re located 5 minutes from there, I thought it would be fun to have some Haitian food before the game. I purposely arrived at the restaurant 3 hours before the game and placed my order. There was a special menu for the USA-Haiti game, and goat was listed. When I ordered the goat, the young Haitian girl who was taking the order nonchalantly said they had none although it was on the special menu. I decided for the Oxtail, one Haitian Pattie, and soursop juice. My son ordered tacos and a side order of sweet plantain. She even confirmed the Pattie flavor, I said chicken. After waiting for 1.5 hours to finally get served, the food was luke warm, the plantain was chewy, I never got the Pattie although I was charged for it. The soursop juice had no soursop flavor. My son ordered sweet plantains, they gave him green fried plantain. When he asked, they said they ran out of sweet plantains. Instead of telling us they ran out of sweet plantains, they just gave us what they had. We ended up leaving the green plantain on the table. The wait was so long, we had to eat in a hurry, therefore we barely ate, we took the food with us. In addition to the excessive wait, the service was very inefficient, very disorganized, very chaotic. I have to say they were very busy because the place was packed with game goers. They knew however there would be a crowd, they should have prepared accordingly. Overall the food wasn’t bad, although the oxtail had more salt than flavor. It wasn’t neither the worse nor the best Haitian food I’ve had. If it wasn’t for the excessively long wait, I would consider giving them another try, however after reading another reviewer had to way 2 hours on a different day, it’s unlikely that I would go back. I guess I’ll never know if their patties are good, since I never received the one I paid for. I must add that it’s time that we stop normalizing poor customer service for Haitian businesses. We don’t question their prices for the service provided, we pay what they ask for, therefore we should expect to get treated with respect. My bill was $60 for 2 people: one order of Oxtail with rice/beans, my son’s tacos and the soursop juice. We paid, no question asked. We should have been treated...
Read moreIf I could give this restaurant zero stars, it would be well deserved. The customer service here is terrible. The owner of the restaurant consistently fails to provide a clear answer when asked about specific food availability. The restaurant owner is more concerned with taking advantage of customers' money rather than providing fresh, authentic Haitian food and giving an exceptional customer service experience. I have eaten at other Haitian restaurants and have never experienced a lack of business like this one. Several times, my husband has tried to call for a pre-order on certain foods, and instead of saying that they can't provide, the owner has either lied, hung up the phone in mid-conversation, or didn't pick up the call. They will never get our business again, which I know they don't care about losing one less customer. Beware, for you have been warned that they are serving leftover food and saying it's fresh.
** I don't know who Yves is but you got the wrong one. Apparently, you have enough bad reviews that you are mixing up customers names on reviews. How about do better and take the criticism to improve your business and customer service. Own up to your faults and take accountability. As a business owner myself, I would never stain my reputation or business with "false" accusations. No one is out here to get you. Facts is facts and you are lucky that I didn't expose your business with a picture of what you...

Freshness and Flavor: The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the freshness of the ingredients. Burst with vibrant flavors that clearly showcased the quality of the produce used. Whether it was the crisp fried banana or the perfectly cooked djon djon and griot!!! Or the extra cold Malta! Everything was a testament to the kitchen's commitment to serving fresh, high-quality authentic Haitian cusine!!
Service: The service was another standout aspect for me. I didn’t get his name but if your reading this thanks again brother!
