I came to this spa because my upper back was really tight and I needed major relief. I was so glad to see all the positive reviews and that they had same day availability. I requested a 60 min Swedish massage and put in the note to focus on upper back and left calf. The two stars is because they were very on time, and took me as soon as I walked in and because the leg portion of the massage was ok. Everything else was not. The masseuse didnt say her name, didn't confirm desired areas of focus, ask if the temperature of the table was ok or anything. She just got straight to work. She began pressing and stretching my body so fast up and down. Nothing was calm or relaxing about it. In fact, I told her ow because she pressed on my spine two different times. Another flag was that she was sick. About 15 minutes in the massage she coughed and loudly hawked up phlegm, then left the room to spit it out. She left the room 5 times to cough excessantly. At one point she left me half uncovered to leave the room to cough. The door was ajar and it was cold. Very unprofessional. I could hear her next door because the walls to the rooms dont go all the way to the top. She had no mask and was sniffling the entire time. Nothing at all relaxing about that. The woman at the front desk asked me how the massage was in front of the masseuse and i just responded alright since she was right there. When she left, i told her i was concerned about getting sick and all the coughing. She apologized and acknowledged she knew she was sick but that it wasnt covid. She said next time it wouldn't happen. She asked what I wanted to leave in tip. After all that, I shouldn't have tipped anything. My upper back is sore, im worried about the masseuse passing her cold, and the experience was far from relaxing. The reviews comment about someone named Su, but clearly that's not who I had. Unsure of how so many 5 star reviews if this is the level of service. Wish I kept my $80 and waited for availability from one of the more known...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have an early bird special from 10-12 on Fridays and Saturdays for 30 minutes! I went in for 60, and it was 83 dollars excluding tip ($20). It was well worth the money. I walked in and was escorted to a room before i could sit down, and in less than ten minutes (with me getting ready) my massage was started. I didnāt even have an appointment!
⦠Amazing isnāt even a good enough word to use to describe the experience. After asking the amount of pressure I wanted, she got to work. I didnāt even tell her where my problem areas were, she found them on her own! (Tight Shoulders) I plan on going back again, and again, and again. She asked throughout the session if things were fine, and I appreciated the check ins. They had apple pay (3 dollar charge for cards) and she sent me on my way with a couple snacks and a seltzer water (youāre supposed to hydrate after a massage, by the way). The whole experience was fantastic, and Iāve been to a couple massage shops- Iāve never been treated so well especially for the price I paid. Please check it out, as it was also worth writing this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have chronic lower back pain and left shoulder pain. I was planning to make an appointment with a chiropractor, but my wife suggested trying deep tissue massage first. I went to Classic Massage Spa, where the masseuse focused on my shoulders and lower back. I could really feel the knots in my left shoulder area, and she worked on them as well as my lower back region. I havenāt had pain for weeks now, and I strongly recommend Classic Massage Spa to anyone experiencing back and shoulder pain. I canāt believe how therapeutic and healing massage can be. For the first time in four years, Iām...
