My husband took my daughters out to eat with my family today and they had the worst restaurant experience of their life. They walked and had to wait 10 minutes to even be greeted by the waitress. Wasn’t because they were busy since there were only 2 other tables with 2 people each. My dad said they should have known better since he overheard people complaining about their food he walked in. My family decided to give them some grace and wait a bit. They waited 45 minutes!!!! Then finally asked if any food was ready and were given loads of attitude and told only 2 1/2 of the 6 meals were ready. My sister asked if at least the children could get their meals so they could eat and get to their dance class. Five minutes later, the waitress returns with the kids meals of 1 pancake, 1 egg, and bacon. Remember this is 50 minutes later now. Next she brings out my sister’s meal and my husband’s meal. My husbands meal (that took 50 minutes to make) was a chicken salad sandwich that looked like a cooked chicken breast ground up in food processor mixed with a bit of mayonnaise and thrown on a store bought croissant- oh and a side of chips. Finally after ANOTHER 15 minutes, my parents ask if their food is almost done. The waitress has the audacity to YELL at my father and says “I told you it’s coming!” Finally my parents get their food after an hour of waiting. And once again it was the lowest quality food you’ve ever seen. Just disgusting. So my sister decides to let the owner know about the waitress’ attitude towards my family, the extremely long wait, and the quality of the food. The managers response was to get defensive and say it’s because my family was a big table. Um it was 4 adults and 2 kids. Also, both of the other tables were complaining as my family was leaving. So we’re not the only ones to have a bad experience.
Alllll of these details to say, please PLEASE do not waste one second coming in to this place or even thinking about visiting this place.
Also, I’m 100% sure these positive reviews are fake. I’m not even sure this review will show up for long until...
Read moreCame here Friday morning for a hit and run breakfast. The owner/chef was very nice enough to get my bi plate of food out quickly "The Big Britches". The food was great! Chicken was crisp and fresh, the hollandaise had some good spice to it and the potatoes were nice and garlicky. Good Pantego breakfast stop.
Only negatives (that weren't enough to take away a 5 syat rating) were that the potatoes and the hollandaise sauce were cold/Luke warm when they got there. Granted my plate had lots of stuff on it so I can understand how time could be hard while making this plate. Again, would still highly recommend a visit.
Recommendation for the owner: If possible, for the lights either go all warm yellowish or all modern white. The mixture hurts the eyes, and you place is so big and comfy looking.
I would also recommend for historically slow times/dates to put up a little separation between your two areas. That way if you only have 3-5 people in you can put them all in one room with the place being to empty looking or having them all cramped in...
Read moreThe restaurant is in a good complex and it has a cute down home atmosphere. When we first entered we were immediately greeted and seated but was told up front that her chef couldn’t make it in today and to bare with her. In the restaurant there was one table that was getting their food. There was another table of 6 that had just gotten their refreshments. And then we were the third table that just got seated. It did take a while longer for our lunch but it was definitely worth it. I got the Chef’s Lunch Combo with the Turkey Sandwich and Caesar Salad. It sounds simple and plain, but it was the most delicious sandwich and salad I’ve had in a long while. You can tell everything is home cooked and made fresh because that makes all the difference. I will definitely be going back. I’m unsure if the woman who seated us and cooked was the owner or not, but she definitely did an awesome job with the unexpected one woman show she had to put for...
