St. Mary's Episcopal Church — Local services in Arlington

We love St. Mary's! After a fair amount of church shopping, we first visited St. Mary's in 2016 and never left. It has been a huge part of our family's life since.

We found the folks here to be very friendly, open, welcoming, and generally laid-back--they're just good people. The church has great programs for kids. And there are over 50 ministries in various areas, so tons of ways to get involved helping people in the parish and broader community. The annual parish retreat to Shrine Mont is a blast.

There was a Hispanic woman that was extremely bitter along with two older white women that apparently lead the financial assistance/emergency fund . I was informed they would help me as I’m in the midst of a eviction, when I got there the Hispanic lady (even after showing proof of my legal notice) told me they could not even give $150. I don’t know her name but her energy was not Christ like and completely off. She kept telling me NO with various excuses over and over. It didn’t feel right. Love going there such great people and community very welcoming does a lot with volunteering. Great things for youth to participate in. Has a fantastic live stream staff and amazing priests there all just sweethearts. My favorite service is the midnight mass on Christmas Eve you really feel like your transported back a few years when the world was more caring. Been attending since I was born in 2002 its had the same great atmosphere ever since.
