This is my second time coming here, my first time eating in, and let me tell you if I'd dined in the first time, I would NOT come back or recommend.
The service is great, I'll agree, and certainly the food tastes delicious IF YOU ARE UNAWARE OF HOW FILTHY THEY ARE!!!
I am still sitting in my car from the visit and so disgusted I had to review immediately. Shonda, my server is the reason I choose to dine today. She was seemingly an attentive server, however, she completely ignored my response to the question she asked: "Was everything okay?". I didn't even touch my waffle and I told her everything was terrible. She just carried on taking my payment nonchalantly.
MY VISIT- Tuesday, March 6, 2018- AM:
I ordered an orange juice, waffle, and 3 soft scrambled eggs. My orange juice had a dead gnat floating in it and when I looked at the bottom of the cup there was brown crust in my orange juice turning the juice brown. Calmly and without drawing attention, I patiently waited the duration of the time it took to receive my food to request a sprite instead. No difference, the sprite had a dead gnat smudged on the cup. I immediately told Shonda both cups were nasty, and I'd take a to-go cup. She made the drink and put the lid on. No joke, I opened the lid, as I bit into eggs with shell in them and saw... Yep... A GNAT. A floating gnat in my sprite, in my to- go cup.
I could not continue the stay, I paid, I even tipped 100% of my $5.64 bill, and I assure youI will not return.
I advise you to inspect your food and beverage at this location (Collins and Lamar) more thoroughly than you usually would prior to ingestion. Health...
Read moreWorst visit i have ever experienced at a Waffle House! My husband, the baby, and myself decided to drop in because they weren't busy. I ordered the All-Star breakfast which is $7.30 and comes with a waffle. I asked the waitress to hold the waffle and she was clueless what that meant. She brought us our drinks and brings my toddler a large plastic cup with no lid so i ask for a small cup for the baby and she bring me a smaller plastic cup with no lid. Then i asked her if i could have a Styrofoam cup with a lid for my toddler. She charged me for cheese on top of my hash browns that i never got and then when we were finished eating i asked her if i could just get my waffle to go. So she takes my receipt to go add on another $3.27 for me to take my waffle that i was already charged for! Then she tells me that she was supposed to charge me for the Styrofoam cup i asked for, for my toddler. Then continues to tell me that i can sit there and eat it. Well if i was still hungry and not full i wouldn't have asked for it to-go!! She tells me that they charge 10% on all to-go orders but yet i spent almost an hour sitting here with my family eating. I couldn't even take the left overs for my toddler to finish because she wanted to charge me for that also. So i never even got my waffle that i had paid for with my meal and they had 2 waffles sitting on the grill going to waste because of her!

Read moreI’m am disappointed in the night shift here, why is it bad service and low quality food during the late hours. First red flag guy with dreads/loc(WAFFLE HOUSE EMPLOYEE) was sleeping at the table when we walked in. 2nd red flag we had to ask to have table cleaned it was dirty and no one was sitting there from a previuos cleanup. Restaurant could of been more cleaner. Other guy was sitting eating then got up to take our order. Ordered Waffle steak eggs and grits waffle looked as if cook did not know how to properly measure batter to make waffles. Waffle did not look like a Waffle House waffle I brought it to their attention customer service severely lacking. Instead of trying to rectify/correct the situation I was made to feel as if making a complaint concerning the quality of my food rubbed them the wrong way. The guy (WAFFLE HOUSE EMPLOYEE )that was sleeping at the table woke up and jumped in with a attitude and didn’t make the situation any better. I asked you speak to a manager I was told they do not have a manger for their shift. I do not appreciate the way I was treated and I left without anything to eat and they never tried to help make the experience better.
