I politely and PRIVATELY messaged this business today after a negative experience at the stand earlier this morning. The owner of the business replied and requested that I call, which I did. I told him of my negative experience and rather than hearing me, he told me not to return if I didn't like his business practices. Clearly that was already my plan. However, when I told him his customer service was terrible, he told me I was a terrible person and hung up on me. WOW! Because I politely and privately let you know that I had a negative experience you make a personal attack on your customer. I asked for nothing from you and you requested that I call. I was polite to you and your staff and simply voiced concerns that you admittedly sell moldy produce (blackberries which your staff called "imperfect") but have no signage to alert that the prices are due to the fact that they are rotting. You asked if I've ever purchased moldy fruit and the answer was and is yes, but not intentionally because who wants to feed their family moldy rotten food? If you want your prices to be low to clear old "imperfect" produce, let it be known but don't get angry when customers are upset that they are being intentionally sold moldy food and call you out on it. Simply put up signage to indicate what your consumers are actually purchasing and why you are selling at low prices (which wasn't a crazy low price since Schnucks, Dierbergs, Aldi, etc. have 10 for $10 of berries that are these same brands). You could have politely told me that is your practice and not to return if I don't like it but to make a personal attack and call me a terrible person for not wanting to spend my hard-earned money on moldy fruit to make my family ill was ridiculous, uncalled...

Orlando Family Produce is absolutely the best seasonal 'OUTDOOR OPEN AIR MARKET' for fresh produce, seasonal holiday products & items & specialty items in Arnold/Northern Jefferson County. Local honey is great tasting & helpful with taming your seasonal allergies too. Browse the many extra products they have & you will be surprise and please at what they have for your yard & porch (flowers & decorated signs); and of course, the variety of fruit and veggies for your family table is great and so much more tasty/healthier than using canned from the grocery store when fresh is totally in season💖. Try making that fresh peach, blackberry or apple cobbler like our Grammies use to do when we were kids (with a scoop of vanilla ice cream) for a summer treat. 😋 Their family serves all their customers well and will assist you carefully with your selection as needed. Also, if you need help back to your car with your purchases, no problem...most often, they are already offering to assist you or just ask as I have personally witnessed...

Always a friendly staff. But three stars is because of the quality of the fruit. I don't think they go through their produce enough to make sure that it's in good enough shape to sell three of the four packages of blueberries I bought were rotting. I will say this was the first time I was there this year because last year I had the same problem last year with the blueberries and bing cherries...
