Bay City Supermarket, it was nice to know ya!

Fresh Catch is, for all intents & purposes, Bay City with a new name. Same layout, same products, same meat & seafood department. Oh, wait! There is one difference! No saltwater aquarium as you enter.

Before visiting Café 86 next door, I scoped out Fresh Catch to see what they had to offer. Upon entering, a Thai dessert snack vendor sells various freshly prepared treats. Desserts like kanom puang & kanom bang-jee. Next to that, Thai trinkets & decorations are for sale with pricing varying from cheap to expensive.

Located on the right of the market, Azon's has turo-turo (food in warming trays) Filipino food available to purchase as a combo meal. Azon's used to be located in the suite which will soon house the Neptune's restaurant, on the left of Canaan restaurant, in the same plaza. A large dining area with a stage can accommodate a large amount of people I'm assuming people having private events can make reservations here, but seriously, why would anyone want a birthday party in a supermarket?

The middle aisles have various packaged goods, from chips to fish sauce. The rear of the market has the refrigerators/freezers for food, such as egg rolls & dumplings. The meat & seafood section carries live fish/seafood, has free fish frying/steaming & seems fresh for the most part.

On the left of the building, more décor & various knickknacks are for sale. I believe there is watch repair offered, but I'm not for certain.

Parking is in a private lot. Fresh Catch is the anchor store, located on the right of Luisa & Son's.

Fresh Catch seems to be respectable supermarket. I have my local favs, like Island Pacific & 99 Ranch, but if I'm visiting Luisa & Son's and/or Café 86, then I'll pop my head in to see what the...

I love this place what a gem! With the higher price of food you have to do some creative shopping now days. Fresh Catch did not disappoint when it came to purchasing seafood and if your a pork lover they have lots of it!
