Mon Amie Amy — Local services in Ashburn

Don’t go here if you have children. Me and my family decided to check it out the other day and we have a 3 year old who was with us. The lady, not sure if she’s the owner or just an employee (older lady with dark hair) immediately started to follow-us around while keeping a side eye on us. It was the first time I have ever experienced something like this. My daughter picked up a stuffed animal and was carrying it around and the lady was watching us like a hawk to an extreme degree , she followed us to where we were looking and told us that she would put the stuffed animal my daughter was carrying on the counter, not in a friendly way in a please don’t touch my stuff kind of way. Mind you, this store has a whole section of stuffed animals and kids books in reaching distance for children. She continued to follow me and my daughter around the entire store it was extremely uncomfortable.

Additionally, the jewelry there is EXTREMELY overpriced and not great quality at all. I am not sure what the goal was for this business.

It is not a warm and welcoming store...

I LOVE this very cute boutique. My husband and I were having lunch across the street and I saw this bright colorful display outside the shop and said we should go in and look. I ended up finding the perfect retirement gift for my mom and they had the bracelets I kept seeing all over TikTok! My husband even found a whole section of things for him to enjoy too! Every time we are in the area now my husband knows to stop so I can add to my goodies from Mon Amie Amy! The owner is an absolute delight and very helpful - we love supporting local...
