Makers Union — Restaurant in Ashburn

This is my new go-to spot for a great meal and drinks, They just opened and I’ve already been back several times.

The vibe is awesome, relaxed but with great energy. Food is on point, drinks are killer, and the service is just solid all around. Shoutout to Adam behind the bar, super friendly dude who actually takes the time to help you find a drink you’ll really enjoy. He’s made me a couple custom cocktails now and they’ve all been awesome.

Power Hour from 4-5 is honestly insane. $5 drinks and a bunch of food items, Can’t beat it. The hot chicken lit me up way more than I expected, in the best possible way. Chicken and waffles were also a hit, and the bread pudding was also and stabdout.

Also met the managers Sam and Sunny, super warm, down-to-earth people. You can tell they care about making this place something special.

All in all, just a great spot. Good food, great drinks, chill people. I’ll definitely keep...

We live in Goose Creek and have been really excited for Makers Union to open. We got to the restaurant around 6:30 and got sat outside right away. The host said our server would be right with us. About 20 minutes passed and nobody came to our table. Waiters came in and out and even the manager came out to the patio to assist another table and we hadn’t even gotten water yet. We know it’s opening night but that length of time without any acknowledgment is disappointing. We decided to leave but are definitely willing to give it another shot in the near future in hopes that the experience will be better!

My daughter and I decided to go to makers Union for dinner and it started off on the wrong foot. First the The hostess greeted us. We asked for a table for two outside and she proceeded to walk outside and left us standing there for about 15 minutes because she was cleaning tables walking in and out of the restaurant. Finally, another manager asked us if we had been helped. I pointed out the girl that was initially supposed to seat us. He then asked another host us to set us up. We sat outside and in a nutshell between the time we got our table and the waitress to take our order and we got our food. It had been about an hour. The burger was overcooked, and our drinks were messed up the management and the waitress did comp my daughter‘s meal and we did get a round of drinks on the house overall it was a fair experience.
