I was a regular customer and liked this place, but not anymore.

I bought a wrap and they gave me a wrap that was so small in size with missing ingredients. I went back and I was surprised that they couldn’t even see the difference between a normal sized wrap and what they gave me. Took a photo below.

After they agreed that they will replace it, one of the guys tells me that they didn’t take the $10 payment of one of my old orders from one month ago. What a timing! I’m already upset about the wrong wrap and suddenly I have to pay more. I came there multiple times before after that missed order and they never called it out until today. It was ridiculous. Where is the proof that I bought it and didn’t pay? What if he was just making it up to make me pay for the new wrap I am asking them to pay? I paid for it anyway, but was it really my fault if they forgot to get the payment at that time, if at all I bought it? Was $10 really worth to upset the customer even more?

The guy who made and handed over the new order was at least nice and respectful. The one, with the glasses I think, who brought up the old charges didn’t even seem to care.

I gave this place a 5 star in the past but due to today’s bad customer service experience, I am changing it to 1. I know it might sound unfair but it is also unfair to ask a customer to pay for something there is no proof of buying. Restaurants like these don’t think of the bigger picture, which is customer retention, customer service and growth. They’re worried about $10. The food was good at dine in and I was very happy with it. So I decided to cater with them for an event recently and felt they are not good in catering.

Firstly, the food arrived at 6:35pm (after follow up phone call), but supposed to come at 6:00 pm (settings up took another 15 mins) guests had to wait for 45 mins for their appetizers. The reason the delivery guy mentioned was they had other few big catering on the same day so they were busy and that's why the delay. Unacceptable to me.

Secondly, the quantity of food. I have ordered large shallow veg biryani tray, but they delivered half tray which was insufficient and many veg guests didn't have entrée. Raita was very less for the large shallow Chicken biryani, large shallow Mutton biryani and half tray Veg biryani. The delivery guy went and brought some raita later but no point in having raita without Veg biryani. They have accepted their fault in delivering half tray veg biryani instead of large shallow tray (and asked me to pay only for half tray), but what is the point when there isn't enough food for the guests. Unacceptable to me.

Size of Vada they serve at dine in and the one they catered me were smaller, I was told it will be the same size of what is being served at dine in. Not a very big deal to me, but they should deliver what they promise while ordering.

Beetroot Halwa was good. The delivery guy did good job as well. I would probably dine in, but wouldn't cater...

Very very pathetic food. I would advise people not to spent 1 dollar on this place. This placewas good but from last 2 years they decreased the quality and increased the price. You are charging people and not willing to provide quality food. I had called multiple times to complaint but management of this place sucks more than the food. Today I have ordered jackfruit biryani and samosa wrap and they put sticky low quality rice Wich we ate at home.. usually in wrap they used to put basmati rice and good gravy.there was very leass gravy and on taste of bad Rice, you can't find samosa in the wrap For jackfruit biryani there was no jackfruit and salt only fried onions and rice. Issue with biryani happened many times before in the past. While ordering we used to mention pls put jackfruit also not onions and rice only.seems lIke we very begging for what we deserved. Problem is being a vegetarian, in Ashburn there are not so many food options for late dinner takeout.so we were ordering despite of many issues with biryani.

This place used to be a very good place before and we had ordered and ate many times but from last 2 years this place is getting suck day by day I don't why management is not taking any action to improve even though I had complaint and give feedback many times. But I am done wasting my money. I will go taco or chipotle...

Today I visited Chopathi restaurant turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Not only I encountered a distressing incident involving insects in my food, but the behavior of one of the women with spectacles working there was exceptionally rude. However, my excitement quickly dissipated as I sat down at my table. Restrooms where awful Expecting an apologetic response and a swift resolution, I was taken aback by the dismissive attitude of the waitress. Her lack of concern and disrespectful behavior left me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer. Not only was the presence of insects in my food an appalling discovery, but the unprofessional and rude behavior exhibited by the women with spectacles working at the restaurant further compounded my dissatisfaction. The entire experience left me questioning the integrity and commitment to customer service of this particular establishment. As a customer, I believe it is crucial for restaurants to prioritize cleanliness, hygiene, and respect for their patrons. Regardless of the frequency of customer visits, it is essential for restaurant staff to treat all patrons with respect. I highly recommend people to not visit. Check your food before you eat.
