American Red Cross — Local services in Asheville

CPR and first aid class DON'T DO IT.... I had to take this class for work. The online classes for hours it has a save and exit button I saved I exit I went back and completed all of the course it takes 4 hours. At the end it shows a box that says congratulations you have completed your CPR first aid . I was never sent by email my download to my certificate We was able to pull it up on a different computer on where I worked My boss seen it he photographed it it said I completed all classes still he could not print it off either. This morning at my physical class. The instructor named Susie was very rude and short. Tell me I could not take that class without the certificate she treated me like I was lying to her even with my boss standing there showing her on his phone that I had completed that part of the course. I was trying to ask her could I take the course once we straighten up this paperwork somewhere else what I have to pay for it again. The only thing she could tell me is to call the 800 number. I'll call the 800 number for Red Cross cannot get nobody on Saturdays wasting my time.

Right now my best advice to anybody it's just fine a good CPR class with a technical school or independent...

Everybody here was so understanding and nice. They made sure to offer me anything I needed/wanted for anxiety (turning on the tv, covering the needle so I don't have to see it go in, explaining how and why they do everything, etc) and I have super difficult to find veins (they're tiny) but got into one faster than any other blood drive I've gone to. I was in and out in an hour from a walk in and time just flew by so fast. I happily scheduled my next appointment and I'll be excited to...

I was on vacation in Black Mountain and wanted to stay on schedule for 2024, so I scheduled an appointment at the Asheville Donor Center. Chatting with Ann during my intake was absolutely lovely. She had so many good recommendations that I have to plan another trip. Ann was also my phlebotomist and she was as superb at that as she was welcoming to her donor center. I can't recommend her or the Asheville Donor Center...
