River Arts District Farmers Market — Local services in Asheville

Great News - It's the same RAD market you know and love. After the flood it was relocated to a temporary location on Merrimon and has now moved to the campus of ABTech, which will be its home for the foreseeable future. The reason for the two addresses and pages on Google Maps is that Google's algorithm only allows for a business moving its address an x number of times in x time. RAD Farmers Market is a personal favorite! It is open all year round from 3-6 pm. They often have live music, a coffee truck and so many vendors. The vegetables are picture perfect, the goat cheese is flavorful and the bakeries are outstanding! There’s so much available that I cannot possibly list all of it! Great selection of local vendors! I try and swing by every week for fresh produce. I come by early and it’s pretty busy, but I know what I’m looking for so it doesn’t take too long to shop.

I really miss the old location at All Souls Pizza. The Foundy section of RAD is fun, but way to many tourists to easily get in and out for weekly shopping. Parking can be a pain. I could try other markets but I do think they have the best selection of vendors, so I’ll continue to...
