Located in the heart of Asheville’s vibrant River Arts District, Baby Bull is a true gem that delivers on all fronts. This cozy yet creative eatery has everything you could ask for, making it a top pick for locals and visitors alike. Most ordered, double cheeseburger, onions, pickles, medium rare on potato roll. Otherwise ask for it to be ‘smashed’ for well done. Gluten free buns available. Ambiance and Atmosphere: The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern flair, reflective of the artistic vibe of the district. It’s inviting, comfortable, and filled with creative energy that sets the tone for a great dining experience. Food and Beverages: The menu at Baby Bull is a food lover’s dream, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all palates. From hearty classics to inventive creations, there’s something for everyone. The flavors are consistently exceptional, ensuring that every visit is as delightful as the last. Pair your meal with their thoughtfully curated selection of wines or explore the ever-changing roster of local craft beers. Non-alcoholic options are equally impressive, with a range of refreshing beverages to suit every taste. Exceptional Service: The staff at Baby Bull are a standout feature, providing warm, attentive service that elevates the entire experience. Whether it’s a recommendation from the menu or assistance with the restaurant’s new POS system, they are eager to help and always professional. Additional Features: • Condiment Bar: The well stocked condiment bar is a fun and practical addition, allowing diners to customize their meals to perfection. • Loyalty Program: The reward point system is a fantastic perk for repeat visitors, making it easy to enjoy benefits while savoring your favorite dishes. • Clean Restrooms: Often overlooked but important, the restrooms are spotless and well-maintained, a testament to the restaurant’s overall attention to detail. Resilience and Renewal: After weathering the storm that temporarily closed its doors, Baby Bull has reopened stronger than ever. The open space, new POS system, and continued commitment to quality prove this restaurant’s dedication to excellence. Final Verdict: Baby Bull is a shining star in the River Arts District, blending delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere into one unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reliable, flavorful, and enjoyable meal. Five stars!

The website and the menu in the window both showed the lobster roll at $16.95. We chose to come here over another spot and yet we could have skipled snarky remarks. Only commenting on the small JUMP to $22.95 for the lobster roll we were informed that "this isn't Maine and even if it was it would probably cost just as much". Not polite, hospitable, or appropriate. Someone engaging with customers can work on being kind, positive, and sympathetic. When pointing out that the price on the website, which we had just looked up before coming, was still the $16.95 we were met with the callous response that it just changed. (Updating a web page is sooooo easy) Food is always great and top notch, but the experience was tarnished by less than professional communication.

It got worse. The bun was wet and cold. The patties had no char or sear to speak of and were soppingly juicy. Paired with the Duke's, which was thickly applied, and caramelized onion, the general texture was soggy, save for the pickle. The flavor was underwhelming. And somehow the cheese wasn't melted. It was not prepared with love. In a town with great burgers, this isn't it. ----- Previous review The burger is solid. Not as great as I recalled from Bull & Beggar. The staff were friendly. The fries are almost inedibly salty. The aioli was unpleasantly astringent. I make toum with buckets of garlic and it's never that abrasive. A burger, fries, and a glass of wine was $28. This place is too pricey for everything to not be great.

UGH. This hurts me to write because the service was awesome (if not a little pretentious, but how were they to know I wasn’t a tourist?). Seriously, though, the staff was VERY good 💕 But the reason for my low review isn’t flavor, but pricing! I’ve been in the service industry for years, and I’ve eaten at many of our upscale restaurants and I am not one to balk at a high price tag. HOWEVER. My first time here, I decided to get the lobster roll. And let me tell you, I was SO PUMPED. I LOVE lobster rolls and I was so excited to try one here. So it comes out, and I thought there was a mistake. This lobster roll was practically miniature. It looked tasty, but it was just so little! All the lobster rolls I’ve experienced have been overflowing with filling and more of a meal sized item. So I decided to just keep the size in mind and maybe order something different next time. I started eating, and I’ve gotta say I was shocked! The filling wasn’t filling the roll, but was balanced on top concealing a mostly empty mini roll 🤣. The lobster salad had good flavor, but it was a little dry, if I’m being honest. The roll was stale and crumbly. Maybe during busy times it’s difficult to close the bread bag properly, but it may make a difference. ALL this being said, this is an owner problem. If you force your kitchen to overly constrict portion sizing, you make it impossible for locals to take you seriously. This roll was $17, no side, no pickle, nothing else. All in all, I’d definitely go back for the burger, but I’ll forego the...

I normally don’t do reviews but I’m so disappointed in our lunch for the amount we paid including the tip for a total of $42.30. My husband and I came across this restaurant while visiting the art district. We liked the look of the menu for a quick lunch. We ordered the double cheeseburger and lamb gyro along with fries and hushpuppies. The burger had a good flavor but was rare and cold in the middle. I brought it to the staff’s attention and was told that is how they cook it. She described a slightly pink inside but it was rare. She did not offer to cook it to our liking. I did not see a sign on the chalkboard menu that said they served it rare. I could have overlooked it. It is online with an asterisk and description at bottom of online menu. If you like rare burgers then you will be very happy. I ordered the lamb gyro but got the falafel one instead. I didn’t return it since we were in a hurry. It was not my favorite sandwich since there was not much taste other than the tzatziki sauce. The hushpuppies were amazing and they did a great job with these. Wish I could give them a higher rating but based on our experience I feel a 2 out of 5 is fair. It seems like a great place and there were lots of customers and I wish the...
