If you are looking for organic fresh hot delicious breakfast burritos then you better get there early. They have so many great options for local businesses to sell their products like amazing kombucha, amazing mead, amazing eggs, produce, chocolate, tinctures, and mushrooms. They have hot organic coffee and maté in the mornings and the people are so nice to talk to outside and in the shop while everyone gets their coffee. So peaceful and such a deep real local Asheville vibe. They make me feel so comfortable there. They provide hickory nut gap meats (local, organic pasture raised), vegan cheese & meat, yogurts, and cheese that is organic, local organic bread and a huge wine selection. This was one of my favorite places/ things about living in Asheville! I loved the food, people, and community it created here! The folks working here were always super sweet and engaging, always willing to help you out with anything and the owner is very involved and puts lots of love forth into that store! Deli always has fresh delicious food, always super creative meals. The produce is always great here, I love that they source a lot from local farms. The store may be small but it has so much awesome character, they try to make an impact in waste by handing out metal spoons/ forks for customers to take and bring back to reduce plastics. This market is an fabulous resource for West Asheville. Friendly staff, great deli, local produce. Usually you can find what you need. Pricing is comparable to the large organic supermarkets and even the chain supermarket down the road. No, you won't find 20 differnt brands of laundry detergent, a huge selection of frozen entrees or 50 kinds of cheese. It's a small space.
