I’ve been in this store a handful of times actually looking for antiques. Today my sisters and I went in looking for anything Ashland antiques when the lady standing behind the counter looked at us and said to the gentleman sitting on the counter “I need to make the sign on the door bigger so people know not to bring backpacks in”
The lady was talking about my backpack purse I wear everywhere. My sisters and I directly started to walk out and the older gentleman sitting there said “oh we weren’t talking about you” (mind you we were the only people in there with backpacks) We were almost to the door and we heard the lady say to the gentleman “oh people just come in here to kill time while they wait on their table at the restaurant”
What a sad way to treat customers who were actually interested in buying from you.
