Downtown Perk — Restaurant in Ashland

My coworker bought breakfast for us today. I got a breakfast sammich with sausage, egg, and pepper jack cheese. It was on what might possibly be a toasted croissant.

Man it was delicious. Only thing I would do differently is use a spicy sausage. But one cannot argue with a free breakfast.

Will definitely be going back sometime to try more items.

Coworker bought breakfast again today. Bacon, egg, and cheese on an asiago bagel. I think that's what she said the bagel was. It was delish!

Edit 2: Coworker is the best and bought breakfast again. This time she got me a breakfast burrito. The thing that really stood out to me was the quality and freshness of the ingredients.

A lot of times when you get burritos the ingredients all blend together. But not here. The potatoes in particular were cooked really well. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had.

Edit 3: At this point, I have the best coworker ever. She bought us breakfast again. This time it was a French toast breakfast sammich.

I absolutely loved it. I Wish I received more syrup with it, but the sammich itself is perfect. Absolutely love the food here.

Edit 4: Coworker bought breakfast again. This time it came in the form of a waffle breakfast sammich with bacon, egg, and cheese.

Probably my favorite breakfast sammich this far....

I went to Downtown Perk for the first time today. I was having a birthday lunch with a friend and had their cup of soup (veggie beef), a half salad (chicken), and a raspberry mocha latte.

The soup was good and of homemade quality but the serving was rather small, even for a cup.

The salad was delicious, although I had misunderstood and thought it was a veggie salad with chunks of chicken in it. Despite my surprise, I was delighted with it: Mixed greens, tomatoes, and shredded cheese; topped with a very generous portion of chicken salad.

The specialty latte was amazing. I am not typically a fan of these types of drinks, as I like my coffee strong and not overly sweet. This coffee was very festive looking and absolutely delicious! Since it was very sweet, it was more like a dessert for me but for those who favor Starbucks will be very satisfied with this latte.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. They promptly greeted us, took our drink orders, and took our food orders. The food orders were a little slow coming out. From beginning to end, we were there just under an hour and a half and had a very...

My wife and I like to go around and try different coffee shops all around. Currently we have been to 50+ different shops. About 80% of them we find mediocre and find no urge to return or, unfortunately, dump out the drinks. But this place TOPS THE LIST of best coffee shop for us. Everything we have had is fantastic! Everything from their syrup flavored drinks to their plain lattes to their drips. You want food? Order something that sounds good. They have grest dishes snd pastries as well!
