Sad to even give the store a negative review, but this dealership is just like every single other. Tried to work with the salesman named Keegan, he’s a nice guy, at least until the point when I submitted my credit, then I couldn’t buy his time if I wanted to. All of a sudden he was “too busy” to return my call or texts & no manager reached out either - horrible work ethic coming from a dude who promised he was not that way. He gave a big ol speech about how he’s not like other salesman, how I could trust him to get it done & how my lender wasn’t better than what they had…. What a load of bologna. The moment we got off the phone call after giving my credit information, he and his finance team shotgunned my credit to 5 different lenders, and 2 of them I told Keegan not to even bother with because they had already told me they wouldn’t do it. Instead of respecting me, he sent me a link saying it doesn’t matter how much credit is ran through lenders etc…. To the sales manager assisting him & the finance team - you failed to do every part of your job along the way. You should ALWAYS call people that have trusted you with their credit information back & let them know right away if you can help them or not. You have made your entire business look bad & are a disgrace to the Chevy brand, which corporate will find out about by the way. To the owner/GM of this location - nobody should be walking out feeling this way or getting off the phone feeling like they weren’t treated fairly. And before you respond on here saying it was Memorial Day and you were slammed, you had the time to immediately run my credit through multiple lenders right after I gave the information, but not 2 minutes to call me and let me know there wasn’t anything we could do today and to perhaps wait till tomorrow when it’s not as busy? It’s a lack of respect and integrity. I trusted you, and you...
Read moreI had previously expressed interest in either selling my truck or trading it in to TC Chevy. Kegan called me and asked if I'd be willing to bring it in so they could evaluate the vehicle and determine value. I test drove a vehicle I was possibly interested in purchasing. They did not have what I wanted on the lot and Kegan tried to get me to commit to ordering the vehicle without providing any information on the value of my trade. When asked again for the value he left to ask someone. When he came back he explained that one of the benefits of being a no commission dealership is that he didn't need to complete the transaction and abruptly handed me off to his sales partner, Jerry. I needed to return to work and didn't have time to start the process over with Jerry. They still had my key and vehicle registration. I was able to grab my key off of the desk and I asked for my vehicle registration, which for some reason was being held somewhere else. Jerry left to supposedly retrieve my registration and left me waiting while they played their game. I eventually left without my registration and I have not been contacted about returning it to me. So I'm driving around without my registration because they took it from me. I was in the building trying to purchase a vehicle. There was absolutely no reason to play games or try to hard sell me. TC Chevy is a perfect example of why direct to consumer sales need to become the norm. They add no value to the car buying experience, only cost. I for one will advocate through my local state representatives to change laws forcing car purchases to occur through dealerships. Until that occurs, I will be purchasing vehicles via the internet from out area dealerships that don't...
Read moreWe brought our Bolt EUV in 4 or 5 times for the same issue - the cameras would not shut off after reverse, as specified on page 212 of the manual, by pressing the Home button. Plus one time they remained on all the way home from downtown, at speeds up to 35mph. This last time we brought it in on May 25th and did not get it back until 36 days later. And the situation was finally resolved, but only for 3 days. Now the cameras won’t turn off after reverse unless we press the Park button (not ideal while moving) or exceed 8 mph. We tried to be patient but got increasingly frustrated by the service department and by GM technical support for their inability to fix the problem. It appears that part of the delay was because there was only one EV tech, and he was also the lead on ICE transmissions, so our problem could not be addressed in a timely fashion. I have repeatedly suggested to GM that they need to train more EV technicians if they expect to service all the new EVs they will be producing. Finally, my service rep suggested weeks ago that he would check with the service manager about helping out by paying a month’s loan payment, but I have not heard any result one way or another, even when raising the issue several times. I only have a little more than $300 due on my loan, but I suggested that TC Chevy could help reimburse me for the insurance I paid for the rental vehicle they provided. That sum, plus the insurance AMEX charged me for 2 days of a loan vehicle, came to $568. I would really appreciate if that sum could be reimbursed. We really love the EUV, but the inability to fix this problem is incredibly frustrating. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to complete...
