For some reason, it always smells REALLY weird in here, kind of like dog food maybe? A lot of things don't have price stickers on them, so it's like a guessing game. They have good deals though, I bought a huge name brand dog bed for like half the normal price! The employees are usually not too pleasant either, and I've heard more than one of them complain to other coworkers right in front of you about how long the line is and that they need a break. My very first visit to Ollie's was worth the trip. I was eager to check it out, so I dragged my fiancé along. Overall, we were pleased at the prices & selection; it is truly a discount store. Most of our time was spent in their books section due to the vast variety of reading subjects ranging from children's books & learning tools to historical nonfiction & world facts to cooking & crafts to automotives & survival guides. I wanted to rate Ollie's with more stars but the size of the store isn't efficient enough for all of its merchandise & it was an overwhelming sight. Otherwise, I recommend this store. I was in the area today, and came in to pass some time. I ended up finding this huge area rug that I wanted to get. Regina stopped what she was doing to help me dig it out. She rolled it up and we were able to put it on a cart. She took it up front for me while I did some more shopping. Once I got to the front, she had it taped up and ready to go. As I went and got my truck, she even went as far as to bring the rug outside and helped load it up. She made everything so easy for me, as I am quick to stress.
