UGA Conference Center — Local services in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

Rooms are definitely smaller than what I have experienced. Bathroom even more so. No place to even put a toiletry bag lest they fall into the toilet or sink. Not even a place to position the bathroom garbage can so that you can easily drop something in it. You have to pull it out from under the sink. Refrigerator unit does not contain a freezer. And worst of all, the toilet from the start seem to have very low water pressure. Later on it backed up after only using it for number one.. Brought maintenance out to plunge it, and it was no better. The next day it stopped up again with number one. Insisted they come out this time with an auger. They did and it seemed to flush just a little better then before, enough to get me through the three night stay at least. Still, made it a point to go outside of the room and just around the corner to a hallway restroom to do number two for the rest of the stay! Wasn't taking any chances! Employees though are super friendly! They were in charge of providing breakfast and lunch everyday for our conference, and they were super helpful and courteous. Everything was...
