Charley at this salon is a dishonest nail tech, he is a swindler and hustler. I asked how much my daughter nails would be, he said let me put ONE nail on to get the length so I can give you the price. He ended up putting on an entire set of nails then gave me the price, he said $48. I should have walked out then when he started putting the set on.

The second thing she showed him a picture of what she wanted, he said $53 for the French tip, I said no. Just the $48, let's run it.

The 3rd thing is he asked if she wanted to have half her nails polished or the whole nail polished, even after I said no to the French Tip and no to the extra $5.00 charge which would have been his tip +$5.

Of course she Said a half nail polish and he charged me $53, again after I said NO to the $53. I asked why did you charge me $53 he said because you said do French tip, I said NO I didn't. You asked if she wanted half nails polished, but never said it would be more than the $48.

If I said do the.$48, why ask if she wanted her nails half polished if you knew it was going to be more.

This was the worst and most awkward experience I have ever had. It was also my first time and I won't be coming back. I picked this place because it had a 4.1 rating. After my visit I find out they switched owners and managers so don't expect that same experience. I visited on a Sunday. Salon was busy but nothing out the norm for any nail salon I was not greeted. There wasn't any flow of check in communication. And the manager there counted the money on the counter in front of her customers. Then there are signs up advising their customers on how to act. I didn't notice them until I was getting my nails done and i was bored looking around. Then the same female manager that counted money called a customer stupid repeatedly after she paid and left. It was awkward to hear a business owner talk about their customers that way. So bold. Please don't go here. Go some place that will genuinely value your business. This place is not a 4.1 this place is a 1 star that feels entitled to treat customers poorly because of where we live. And p.s: my nails have looked better. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The About Nail shop has unlicensed nail technicians working there! I had to contact the BBB and file a complaint because of it. The owner got pissed off when I called her out on it after my nails were jacked up. This is coming from someone who has been getting their nails done since acrylic was the only powder used. I kept telling this young tech that my nails did not look or feel right. He kept saying he is going to fix it. Well, they were not fixed. I left the nail late for work and was to returned the very next day. In one day my nails were chipped and the gel polish was discolored as if I worked in construction. The owner would not fix it and would not let anyone else fix it. She told me to pay $20 to fix it. Wait what! After I told her no, another tech said he would fix because he remembered me.
