This place is AMAZING. Not only are the inside and outside of the shop cute and adorable and everything you’d want to see at a plant shop. The neighborhood it’s in is adorable too. And they have limited parking out front which is great! The employees are SO great too. They’re friendly and helpful and really enthusiastic. We felt right at home and so comfortable with them!
They also have a very wide variety of plants. Some are huge, some small. Lots are quite unique and you’re bound to find something you love that’s in your price range too. I wanted hardy plants that could survive intermittent watering and the super nice black employee (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name!) helped with the instructions on how to care for the plants I picked. You can see the three small ones in the photos attached - very unique looking and reasonably priced too!
Yes, some of the larger plants and especially the pots are quite expensive if you’re on a budget but you can still find some cute, smaller plants for under $20. Highly highly recommend checking this place out and talking with the passionate employees if you’re looking to buy your first plant or adding to...
Read moreI've always passed by this shop in the neighborhood and finally decided to go in.
My dog passed away and my plan was to get a plant to place his ashes and to care for to ease the grieving process. I go in and not a single person in the store acknowledged me (i get it we're wearing masks but eye contact at least or a wave, head nod...)
The store is small enough to see who is coming in no matter where you're standing....however I kept walking around looking at the inventory and after being there just under 10 minutes without the staff speaking to help or at least say hello....I walked out, felt like I was bothering them or they were not interested in having customers
Every inch of space is covered in plants so there's nowhere to really walk without someone seeing you...a woman walked in behind us had a very similar encounter, as we walked back to our car she was right behind us no one had spoken to her either....odd little shop, won't be...
Read moreI was here a few years ago at an event they had. I bought a $150+ philodendron ring of fire. I get it home and a couple days later I start seeing a massive infestation of aphids on the plant. My collection at the time was pest free so I know they came from here. I tried everything I could to save the plant- repotting, giving it a shower, hand-squishing the bugs to death, neem oil- nothing worked. It died. Extremely disappointing bc this store had a really good variety of plants, including some “rares” (I put rares in quotes bc they were rare at the time, but have become common now). I’ll never come back here and tell all my plant friends to avoid this place unless you want a bug infestation that could potentially wipe out your whole collection. I’ve invested thousands of dollars into my collection and it’s not worth the risk of bringing a plant...
