This is the most beautiful wedding venue in Atlanta. When my husband and I lost our original wedding venue due to Covid, we instantly knew we wanted to book at The Carlyle. The venue opened shortly after we booked our original venue, and there were many similarities that made this such an easy choice for us.
The entire team here was extremely gracious and accommodating throughout our entire wedding planning process. I believe they worked excellently with my wedding planner. And there is always something that goes wrong on your wedding day and for me it was the key to the venue didn’t work when we were trying to get in the day of the wedding. However, the team expeditiously figured this out and treated us all — bridesmaids, hair team, make up team, my wedding planner, my mom, anybody that was there — with beverages from one of our favorite coffee places.
The experience was just great. we did not book our catering through them as we already had a catering company selected, but there bartenders and beverage team were great. we had a secret drink menu during the wedding and I was just so happy that they were able to execute that dream for us.
I I failed to mention the beauty of the venue itself and how it is extremely accommodating to any wedding or event. I am really big on get ready suites so for them to have a huge room that encompasses two rooms essentially with amazing windows that your hair and makeup teams and photographers and videographer will be thrilled about plus a private restroom and entrance was enough for me. There is plenty of room for you to have a large wedding party, but still have enough space to have private moments without everyone in your face.
Another benefit of the venue that we absolutely loved was that we did not need to have a room flip. I actually loathe venues that make you flip. So for us to be able to have our ceremony in one space, cocktail hour in another, and reception in a whole different space, was everything. We were able to use the courtyard for pre-ceremony photos, too. And the vintage yet modern feel of the venue makes for such a beautiful backdrop in your photos. If you were someone that prioritizes their wedding media, this will be very important to you.
I had a large intimate wedding of about 70 guests. So parking was not a problem for us but if you are going to have a larger count, I would definitely encourage ride sharing or setting up an accommodation for your guests.
Overall, if I could give this venue more than five stars, I most...
Read moreI can't say enough great things about The Carlyle venue and it's staff. I run a woman's ministry in Atlanta and we hosted multiple events – quarterly speaker events and a Christmas marketplace fundraising event – at The Carlyle over a two-year period and the service and space was consistently outstanding every time. The venue was always immaculate. When we'd arrive, they would have chairs, tables, sitting areas and bar already set up every time and employees would be ready to help carry in items/help with any additional set up. During events, they have great employees working the bar and standing by to help if needed, plus a policeman standing by outside to assist with parking and ensure people feel safe walking in. Aubrey is a great coordinator and communicator and was a joy to work with. The whole team is so hospitable, anticipatory, dependable and kind, going above and beyond to make every experience as easy and enjoyable as possible – I could not recommend The Carlyle venue...
Read moreThe Carlyle was absolutely the best part of our wedding day! We ran into a hiccup the week of and Mary was very accommodating and assured I had a stress free week. The Carlyle staff was by far the nicest people I have ever encountered, extremely hospitable and prompt with their attentiveness. The bartender’s were amazing and so were the drinks! The catered food was absolutely delicious, Im craving the short beef rib… right NOW! The Carlyle really made our night magical and we do not take our hard work, dedication and commitment to our happiness, lightly. The only con would be, my bridal party did not receive appetizers in the bridal suite during cocktail hour, like we expected. Not completely sure if this is a catering or wedding planner issue. Special thanks to Mary, Joseph, the closing event planner, the bar manager and the lead caterer- Sorry Im not aware of their names. With gratitude,...
