So glad I was referred to this shop! I've been holding onto my baby bracelet forever, not sure of how I could get it turned into a wearable piece of jewelry. I went in on a Friday afternoon, partly expecting not to find what I was looking for. Bonnie was super nice and made great suggestions about how to best make a bracelet. I thought I'd have to come back to pick up my item because she was busy with another order, but she fit me in and made my bracelet while I waited. I browsed the store and kept picking up cute items that were very reasonably priced and great quality. Drove 2.5 hours to find a jewelry store that wasn't a big chain store. This is not the place if you need charms, as the selection of charms were not great and they were overpriced. Tiny metal charms the size of a fingernail were $1.50 each. Came home with barely a handful of charms and chain for nearly $60. The checkout process was strange and unclear, even she couldn't keep track and I ended up walking away feeling like she could've just overcharged me and I wouldn't be able to tell by the unorganized way she handled things. To be a smaller shop, the selection is adequate more often than not. If it were not for this shop, I would be left with only the option of ordering from the internet, which is not always the best option for me as the owner /designer of my own jewelry shop. There are two major craft retailers in the area, and they offer MAYBE 10-15% of what Colorstones does in beads, and their beads are priced significantly higher.
