šØ STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. This company is not just incompetent ā they are a walking liability to your HVAC system and your sanity. If they get assigned through your home warranty, demand a different contractor immediately!!!
If I could give negative stars, I would. This is, hands down, the WORST company weāve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They rarely answer the phone, the woman that does is extremely rude and unhelpful, have had ZERO phone calls returned after numerous messages left, ignored multiple appointment requests from our warranty company, and dragged their feet on the initial diagnostics.
The technician clearly had NO CLUE what he was doing. He openly admitted he couldnāt figure out the wiring, took 4 hours to replace three basic parts, miswired the capacitor (which blew the next day), jerry-rigged the thermostat, and left a complete mess behind with blown fuses/garbage lying everywhere along with dirty hand prints all over our walls and doors. When your tech says the thermostat is ātoo smartā for him, had blown about 20 fuses, and is noticeably agitated that he canāt figure out the wiring so he had to ājerry-rig itā you know youāre in trouble.
They caused more damage than they fixed. Weāve had two breakdowns in the last month since their so-called repair. The first one we paid out of pocket to have fixed through a more reliable contractor because we couldn't get ahold of them. They currently have yet to contact us with an appointment after several requests from warranty over the last two weeks. After our third escalation we have finally succeeded in removing them as our contractor.
Itās a mystery how they have any positive reviews at all ā look at the ones from warranty customers. Every bad experience sounds exactly like ours. This company is a case study in how not to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAndre, the service tech was AWSOME! and he fixed my A/C!
The scheduling technique of this company was stressful to the end customer.. Notifications confirming my appt. stated scheduled repair was set for between 8 am to 4 pm.. no contact from vendor up to 3:00 pm when I called their home office. Seemed they had trouble finding me, but eventually came back to say I was on their schedule. When I asked the home office clerk when should I expect to be contacted, she replied āitās really hot, and their techs are working 24-7. but I was on their schedule !ā š
Not having any idea what to expect, and assuming since Iād heard from no one by 6:30 (Home office became unavailable by 4:45 pm) I went out to dinner. Received a call from tech @ nearly 8pm saying he was in route to my home. Explained I was at dinner some 18 min from my home, would be there as quickly as I could. About 10 min later, i received a message from Andre that he had talked to his ābossā, who told him he could only wait 10 or 15 min.. š¢I quickly closed my tab at the restaurant, had my orders packed to go, and headed with stupid speed trying to get to my home because of the unnecessary urgency created by this āthreatā
Thankfully due to the concern and thoughtfulness of the actual TECH, Andre, he knew I was deserving of the promised service call, so he made it work!
Thanks Andre !
Great grade for the Tech that was dispatched⦠Not so sure about the Co. SubCooling Services.
I was forced to use their services via my home warranty American Gone Shield.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am very disappointed in Subcooling Services LLC. They came out to repair my dryer about two weeks ago. I pay a Home Warranty fee every month that was supposed cover my service. I have been using this service for years and have never been charged extra. They cleaned the lint filter on my dryer and said they needed to get a new lint filter sensor that would be in in 7 days. On that first day of service, it was never explained to me that said sensor would cost anything or I wouldāve declined. Fast word today, I was informed THIRTY MINUTES before them arriving to my home that I owe over $400 for the services provided. I was never provided an invoice for the services describing what was being done. So in my mind, all services are covered. No invoice, no extra fee. After they left, I called the office to which they explained to me that I was supposed to be told that I could decline the service and use that money to buy towards a new dryer. The service workers were blaming the office and the office was blaming the service workers. I feel as though I was taken advance of because I am a young adult living alone. I shouldāve followed my intuition and asked them to leave. I will NEVER use these...
