Walked in the front door and was completely ignored by the man at the counter, but however we were met at the door by an aggressively barking dog. Tail tucked and ears folded back, so yes I say aggressive and stand to it. We had our 1 yr old granddaughter with us today, and was allowing her to be herself and walk with us around the store as she does every store we shop, but as we came around a corner, her walking in front of us, me holding her hand, the dog came at her and had I not immediately picked her up, he most likely would have bit her face. When I confronted the man at the front desk, his response was that's why we have a sign that says no other animals allowed. Then replied he was only going for her shoes, and I quickly came back to let him know, no he lunged for her face. The dogs eyes were locked on hers and he was nose to nose before I got her in the air and back on my side. Not to mention the fact the dog let itself out the front door twice to go get the bus that pulled into the parking lot, completely ignoring the commands of his owner the entire time. So apparently their sign of no other animals allowed, is supposed to be an interpretation to the public, they have an aggressive dog on site and be warned. The only person I will give any props to is the poor young lady who was working for them. Bless her heart, the look she gave me, confirmed this was not the first time the dog...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't say I'm a regular customer of Country Square but when possible I like to shop locally. I had a need for a western belt so I went to the closest place to me and got one. Unfortunately it didn't quite work for what I was looking for so I decided to return it. That's when I was told they only have a 7 day return policy, and I could only receive instore credit. My frustration is that western wear is not cheap. The belt was just over $50 and with nothing else in the store that I need for that price they basically just stole $50 from me. They took the belt back undamaged with tags, and kept my money. The point of this for for people to know that if you want to purchase something from here you'd better be sure that it is what you want because you won't get you money back if you try to return anything. I don't know if I will ever be able to recover my money but I will be sure to tell as many people as I can to be aware of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in to get some things for my 5 year old son. The staff initially ignored us even though it wasn't busy. When I asked about youth hats the gal working rattled off some hate size numbers and walked away. I had to start pulling hats down myself. She finally helped me a little with finding the youth jeans and belts, but I really didn't feel very welcome. I tried to be enging and mentioned my son has taken up horseback riding and she just smiled disinterestingly and walked away. I was really surprised at the cold shoulder, maybe because we weren't "regulars"??? We spent over a hundred dollars and THEN they seemed to warm up a bit. But we'll go elsewhere next time. They get the the two stars for selection and cleanliness but just so disappointed in the...
