A recent bad experience somewhere else reminded me of a great experience I had here a few years ago. I was visiting Auburn and walking down this street at night looking at the closed shops. I came to this shoe store and they had a pair of Merrill shoes on sale in the window. I had been wanting a pair and I saw the owner inside. I tapped on the window to ask when they opened the next day hoping I could come by before I left town. He asked if I wanted something and I pointed to the shoes. He said well come on in; and then he didn’t just rush me out but sat me down, measured my feet... went in the back and brought a couple pair to try on... and then when done; he rung me up and I bought a pair. He knew I was not from there, would not be a regular customer... but still took the time to provide incredible service above and beyond what was...

First time to Auburn, forgot my hiking shoes, grabbed my socks and right away crossed FootPath Shoes. Great personal service like the good 'ol days. The nicest lady helped fit me into a new pair of Merrell Hiking/Walking shoes, worked with me to make sure the insoles were just right and they were. Took a hike and I couldn't be happier. I went here yesterday for a pair of Birkenstocks, which I’ve never worn before so I had a lot of questions. The customer service was absolutely amazing. The gentleman who helped me had old school footwear service - He sat down and unbuckled every shoe and took the time to make sure it fit well.
