1st time visitor! Appeared to be an older crowd. Trendy decor & design. Bands/live music on weekends. New to area, we randomly picked out this establishment. We stopped in on a Friday night 🌙 6pm-ish. We first went to the bar, and there was only 1 seat available . At the bar & upon arrival, we were greeted by numerous staff members, but it still took a while to order drinks. Drinks were decent, nothing special, although they provide a full drink menu with many options. One in our party of 3 sat while waiting for more seating to come available. Unfortunately, after an hour, it never happened 😕 so we requested a table. There were plenty of tables available. 2 in our party ordered meals while one ordered an app with soup 🍲 none of us had any problems or praises regarding prep, appearance, or taste of food. The menu does seem to provide a "fancier" description of what seems to be a step above bar food. While there were lots plenty of staff, working service is slow and appears to be that everyone has a job and no one goes above and beyond nor helps customers not assigned to them. They'll walk by an empty glass 10 times if that's not their assigned area. While waiting for what seemed an excessive amount of time for what ended up being "bar food," we couldn't help but notice the ceiling above our table and the table next to ours. The dust was so unbelievably bad hanging from light fixtures & some areas of ceiling that dust 🤧 dust was streaming down! To the point we kept looking up, waiting for it to fall on us. It was beyond bad. Pictures don't do it justice of how terrible it was. After consuming some of our food, we wrapped it up to bring home for my dogs who did enjoy it! At our table we could hear the live music but couldn't see it, so we got up and watched the band for a short time. I'm assuming the live music is more for people dining or at the bar since there is no area designated for just listening, watching, or dancing, etc.. We were standing near the bar and were treated as more of a nuisance than just guests enjoying music 🎶 after approximately 15-20 min. we just left to get out of the way.

Last Saturday, we had dinner at The Club Car, a bustling, energetic spot that serves American-style comfort food with a touch of sophistication. It’s clearly a local favorite, packed with energy, music, and conversation. The evening was festive with a live band performing, and the place was hopping. While the lively ambiance made for a fun night out, it also made it difficult to have a conversation — something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter setting. My girlfriend and I shared the fried calamari to start — crisp and satisfying. For the main course, I ordered the ribeye steak with a brandy peppercorn sauce, paired with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables including asparagus and squash (as shown in the photo). The steak was cooked well and flavorful, the sauce complemented it perfectly, and the potatoes were creamy and delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, and the kitchen turned out great dishes despite how busy it was. Despite the crowd, our server was attentive and courteous. Drinks came quickly, and the timing of the courses was handled smoothly — no long waits, which was impressive for a packed Saturday night. We’d definitely go back to The Club Car, especially for the food and upbeat vibe — but maybe for a night when we’re more in the mood for music than mingling. If you go, try the ribeye — it hit the spot.

Let me start by saying I have been many times before the whole “covid” thing. My friends and I picked club car before a show at the state theater on Friday night (5:30) so definitely not the busiest time, but aware it’s a Friday night. The hostess and the numerous waitresses were as bad as the food. One good waitress picking up the slack of 4 others who couldn’t even handle water and silverware. Ordered two appetizers; coconut prawns and calamari. The prawns were good, the calamari was frozen and comparable to a child cooking something in an easy bake oven. At $18 for an appetizer for calamari, yes I am going to criticize it as such. After the first round of drinks which came out without a fuss other than the server splashing every drink across the table. The second round did not go so well… it only took asking 3 different employees for drinks only to receive half the order. Upon our main course did the other drinks arrive only to need others replenished. Main course. 4 different orders. Salad with steak, rib-eye, lobster ravioli, and linguini and clams. Salad with steak was well a salad with steak how can you f it up other than the steak being cooked to order, in which it was not. The rib-eye which was my order was ordered medium rare, it was burnt dry outside with a center far from pink. A splash of peppercorn serving it’s name on the menu. The lobster ravioli was great but only if feeding a 80lb malnourished adult. The linguini and clams was the only thing that left any one of us walking away satisfied. I don’t write reviews often but when either you experience something really good or really bad I believe it is a must. Club car is far from what it once was and it is no longer a go to spot like...

If I could give it zero stars for service I would. Its winter. Its cold and they want you to wait outside. I get it. The manager has shoved to many tables into the front entrance so evidently instead of taking one table away and allowing people who want to give them money a comfortable location to wait inside theyve decided to stick their customers out in the cold. Fine but how about this. How about you get an employee thats not the most absolute rude @#@$ you could encounter who likes to tell not only my wife and I but another elderly couple that we " Should have read the sign" that says "Wait Outside" and as she says this she gives you a dismissive fake smile and turns her head as she says YOU NEED TO WAIT OUTSIDE without looking at you anymore it shows the lack of respect this young woman has and the degree that she dislikes her job. This is not our first impression of the Club Car in fact we have been going since my wife helped open it years ago. This was the last time we will step foot in that need your customer base small town establishment again. The last time I was dismissed like that was in 1970 by my 6th grade EV Cain Teacher Miss Garaldo. Amazing that management has put this individual as there first contact to customers who have been going here for years. Like I said the other couple, ourselves, our clubs will never patronize this car crash again. Please wait in the...
