Matt Morgan deftly repaired a cherished anniversary ring after other jewelers had said that the only viable option was to cast a completely new setting using the original as a template, and he did so at a quarter of the price they were asking. When a minor flaw appeared after the repair, he forthrightly said he had missed it and immediately corrected it without question. The final product was a ring that looked at least as good, if not better than it had 28 years ago. In response to a question concerning jewelry that was no longer being used, he said to bring it in for appraisal. He offered an extremely fair value for the older jewelry and applied it to the cost of the new repair. It is difficult to find someone who is so willing to work with the customer and provides workmanship of such exceptional quality. I was looking for a solitaire engagement ring and had been looking at the big chain stores, but I prefer supporting local businesses so I decided to check some shops here in Winter Haven. I am so glad I decided to do so. I came to Haven Jewelers and found Matt to be very knowledgeable, very informative and he took the time to discuss what it was I wanted. I found a stone that I liked for the same money as the chain stores, but the ring was white gold and I felt that the mount was a bit too high. He offered to put it on a yellow gold band and shorten the mount; all with no extra cost. I was so pleasantly surprised by this service offered and on top of that he was ready to do it immediately. I told him that I wasn't that rushed, but that I would be back the next morning. When I arrived to pick up the ring, it was ready and exactly as we discussed. When we picked it up it was perfectly sized. While browsing in the store we were looking for diamonds to compliment my wedding band. Matt had suggested a style that he had visualized and made it come to fruition. He hand crafted a set perfectly & uniquely just for me AND within just a few short days it was on my finger!!
