What a GEM 💎 of a place! I just landed from the west coast to visit my buddy and this is the first place he took me to. What a delicious breakfast I had. He recommended the fried pork chops and it did not disappoint! That fried pork-chop was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I got me an order of biscuits and gravy and with no doubt it was delicious as well. The customer service was great I don’t remember the name of the servers that came to our table but they were so friendly and great to talk to and joke with. The atmosphere is that of a local diner that people have been going to for decades! Such a homey and special place. I could just tell the diner has so much history and that’s beautiful. Overall if you are new to the city, a local who hasn’t tried or a just a person who passing on by. Definitely stop here! 5 stars recommended!

I love coming here we come here way too much actually. Val is my favorite as well as Audrey and a few other girls. However I quit eating my favorite meal here for this specific reason. I loved the eggs Benedict and chose that every single time I came in, I’m talking years I have enjoyed this meal. But in the last year or two it’s gone so down hill. So I stopped eating it but today I really wanted it so we got food picked up for us due to me being sick. It’s not a far drive home, maybe 5 minutes, but to start eating my food and realized this is what it looked like is a little disappointing. You guys are so great at everything you do I just don’t get what happened with this dish. I can’t even finish it. I still forever love everyone here but I wish a change would be made with this one.

Auburndale Main Street Diner 415 S Main St, Auburndale, FL 33823 This could be our go to place soon when we move to North Auburndale. The writing on the window does not lie, I'll say it's way better then any chain restaurant you could choose. Our waitress was on top of it with fast and informative service. Everything we ordered was great. I would recommend everyone who hasn't been her to try it out. For you parking complainers your parking is limited just park on the street and walk the 51 yards if needed. Read the captions in the photos to check out what we had. We'll be back 100%.

No male waiters, which seemed a bit strange, but the staff can't really be complained about. They're always trying their hardest to make sure you're satisfied and don't mind going above and beyond to do so. The staff's arrangement and placement is a bit... Different. They place the women as waitresses and no guys are out front unless they're cashing out orders or supervising. All that aside, the food is very well priced, portions are great, but food is slightly on the flavorless side. The majority of the customer base is older folk and high school teams, as well as bikers and lifted truck drivers, so it makes sense for the food to be slightly on the bland side. This place is a money-maker, and it shows, as there is never parking when they're open, and you have to park a ways down the street. Wait time to be seated on a typical morning is 15-20 minutes. There is never enough tables and the place is kinda crammed, creating an uncomfortable sitting situation that makes you feel like the next table over is part of your group. If you don't dress like you're a biker, boater, bass fisherman, construction worker or grandpa, you will feel out of place. It's a small town diner. Lots of closed-minded people. Last time I was there with my partner, (we are a gay couple) there were "family men" (as they called themselves) with their wives and toddlers next to them cussing at us, insulting us, for simply eating there. I don't think I'll be going back and eating inside anytime soon. Our next orders are gonna be to-go, and that's if we come back. All things considered, a good place to eat if you're ok with bias, bigotry and all...

Lots to love and a little to question.

Pros: Good food, gracious service, clean but old interior.

Cons: The parking, lack of attention to detail and anticipation of needs.

Absolutely loved the food. The service was quick and attentive even for a to go order. The seating for to go orders felt like a corral. I have a suspicion its for waiting for table overflow.

The food was excellent and well worth the price. When I did dig in though, I was surprised to find sub-par white and rye toasts but the biscuits were great.

A note on service, I felt very individual here but anticipation is there but could be much better. I mentioned never eating here so I was handed a menu but not one to take home. I did look in the bags for one and nothing. Missed a step in getting a customer to return.

It is hard to find a menu online. There is an app somewhere but I couldn't find it. So the to go menu would have been great. I know its a small thing but attention to detail like that wouldn't...
