Pizza Brothers — Restaurant in Auburndale

Pizza is amazing, the waitress is HORRIBLE. Our order was wrong and when I told our server, she snatched the pizza off the table, got so nasty with me (and if you know me, I am very gracious and rarely complain), and went behind the counter and slung the pizza on the counter. In a very loud, and rude tone, she’s telling the owners wife, “she said this is wrong” to the point I said, “I don’t know why you’re being so rude” The owners wife came over and asked what it was supposed to be and she said she wrote it down wrong and she apologized. The waitress never returned to our table, did not offer refills, a box, nothing. I was genuinely concerned she was going to spit in my food. We had waited almost 30 minutes for the pizzas and I had to wait even longer for them to remake mine (which was still wrong. It was supposed to be a large, they brought me a small. I was afraid to say anything so I let it be. The owners wife never made the server apologize and allowed her to behave the way she did. I eat here once a week. Absolutely horrible way to treat a regular customer - or anyone.

Editing my post to add a message to the owner since I can’t respond to his message: Luca, I deeply appreciate your response and you looking in to the matter. You guys absolutely have the best pizza in the area and I LOVE your lasagna. We have always received exceptional service there until this incident. The waitress was so grossly rude that I will not return, as much as that saddens me. You can check receipts, I was a very frequent diner. I know that I’m hurting myself by not returning (because I love your food) and that my $40-$60 a week isn’t going to make a difference in your bottom line but I can’t support the way I was treated. LOVE! I just want to say, we’ve been waiting to try this place & we were not disappointed! We placed an order at 8:30 (30 minutes prior to close), the gentleman on the phone was very kind and accommodating. You know how sometimes if you place an order close to closing, the store/restaurant will throw it together carelessly? These guys do NOT! Everything about our pizza was perfect, from the crust, to the toppings, to the sauce ratio. Usually we drive out to Palace Pizza in Lakeland, but we will not be doing that anymore! Called to place an order and received a voicemail. Called back and placed an order @530 for a large pepperoni. Entered establishment at 5:55. Line to the door. Guy at the register was slow and appeared to not know what he was doing. Finally got to register to pay only to find my pizza has not even been made yet. Cancelled my order. I’m disappointed as I have heard great things about your pizza. I am not sure where the disconnect was as there seemed to be plenty of workers. I was not willing to wait another 35 mins for a pizza.
