DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I brought my iphone 11 in to have the front and back glass changed. After they received my phone they stated they saw a tiny bit of water around the phone and sent me pictures to verify. There was no water inside the phone but some surrounding the case. My phone was fully functional apon bringing it in wth no issues what so ever other than the front and back glass being cracked. After the front and back glass was replaced I picked it up and noticed that I could not get it stay on for more than 5 minutes while off the charger. The phone could be completely dead and once you out the charger in it would say it was at 100%. If you let it charge for hours on end and take it off, after a few minutes the phone would enter a hard reset on its own. I have no idea how they did not notice this after repairing the front and rear glass. Not only that but then my face recognition did not work and my phone would also occasionally go completely black as if it were off yet you could hear feedback from the screen and buttons. I notified them about the issues that were now happening that were not present when I brought the phone in and instead of just telling me to bring the phone in so they could look over it again they instead tried to beat around the bush with excuses on how it was my fault and not theirs then offered to look over it. I then proceeded to bring it in for them to look over. They stated it was a battery issueand they would replace the battery that same day so I can pick it up. Some hours passed and I did not receive any message or call so I instead called. They told me they couldn't replace the battery because they dont have the part but that they would receive it the next day. I left the phone over night but when the following day came I had no messages from them so I called again and they said they hadn't received the battery because their parts guy didnt have them in stock when he went to restock. Instead if calling me to inform me of this I instead had to take the initiative to call and find out although they said they would update me. So, again I waited another day. The next day came and the same thing happened. I messaged them for an update and no response. It appeared my messages were now being blocked so I had a friend of mine message them right after I did and my friends message went through with no problems yet my messages would say "not delivered". I decided to go in person. Aftwr going in person the lady behind the counter informed me the phone was still being worked on and wasnt at the shop so we decided to leave. After about 3 mins of driving off I decided to call so I could just pick the phone up and have another shop look at it to avoid the constant run around. After calling and asking if the phone could be brought to the shop ao I can pick it up the lady said "Ok let me just put it back together so you can pick it up" mind you she just stated it was not at the shop. I picked it up and brought it to the phone repair shop at OldTown and explained to them the situation. They did their diagnostic test on it and informed me that Ace Phone repair shop had damaged my motherboard while removing the back glass because in order to remove the back glass they use a laser machine. That explained the constant run around and ducking and dodging. Based off a few other reviews ive read on here its obvious Ace phone repair will also try to blame this on me although my phone was fully functional when brought in. I have pictures and vidoes of everything for reference and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because this should NOT have to happen to any one else. This place has a history of unprofessionalism and repair mistakes. Not to mention when I first picked my phone up the guys that worked their were HIGH OFF THEIR A** and the place smelled like a smoke shop. I have no issues with weed but if you can't function high then dont do the job while youre baked. I later found out the owner himself was on vacation during this time so that explains a lot. Brought my phone in to get my cracked screen replaced. Was told part would be in within 3-5 business days. I called back and they told me the part was delivered but it was damaged, and they had to order another one through their website. Was told in a few days it should be in. I called back to check and I was told it's going to take a little bit longer. My phone was working fine when I dropped it off, just had a cracked screen. They took my phone all apart thinking the part that originally arrive would be fine, but the part ended up being faulty and unusuable. However, when they removed the old screen they broke it even more. If this didn't happen, they would have been able to put the old screen back on so I would have a phone to use while I waited for the new part to come in, but that wasn't the case. They've had my phone for 2 weeks with no progress. I picked up my broken up phone and requested my money back. This is definitely not the way to run a business. Love this place and the ppl in it. Everyone is so friendly and funny. They look out for you, they make sure they give you good prices and they make sure that you are satisfied at the end of your visit. I got my phone fixed here a couple of times, different devices fixed a couple of times and each time I have not had any issues since then. I’ve even purchased a phone from here and was completely satisfied with my service they set me up with and I bought my daughter a phone and she was extremely happy because they had the phone that she wanted the iPhone 8. I would recommend this place to anyone any day. I live about 20 minutes away and I will drive the whole 20 minutes there just to get my device fixed or purchase another phone.
