I have been shopping at this store for years, since I was a kid and it was one of my favorite shopping spots. They have remodeled on the inside and it looks pretty nice and more upscale. The handbags and shoes are great most of the time. The fragrance section is great as well. Lately I have had to dig through the clothing to find great pieces. They are there you just have to find them. The home section is great too. I found beautiful picture frames here for only like $7.99. This store still offers layaway. I know some people love that. I have used it before and had no problem with their system at all. The security is pretty tight here. I have seen on several occasions where security was chasing people out of the store. One time security was chasing someone to their car and got his thumb removed by having it slammed in the car door. Kind of gruesome but hey things like that happen everyday. This store is perfect for the whole family. Everyone in the family will find great deals and...
Read moreI had not been to TJ Maxx in years, but had a gift card and went looking for luggage. I hate the purses are security locked cause you can't really try them on your shoulder, and one of the security locks was broken and alarm was blaring the whole time and staff did not come change it or disarm it. The lady in jewelry was trying to get me to apply for a card and I was annoyed about that but even more so that I had to strain to hear her over the alarm noise, just to find out she was teying to get me to apply for a credit card. I was there on a Friday and the line to check out was ridiculously long and slow I stood in line for over 20 minutes it took me longer to check out than it did to pick out my suitcase. Most of us were so annoyed and could not believe how crowded it was to check out. We all commented on if we should put our stuff back and leave. I have never seen checkout so slow and inefficient. Cashier's were nice just...
Read moreWithin seconds of walking into this store I was immediately asked about applying for a credit card. I already have one so the woman began to harass my friend about getting one. In the purse section there was a large cardboard box with a bunch of wallets and purses. We were looking for something specific and began to move the bags on the top. We were yelled at by an employee that we couldn't look in there and need to go away. This was not even a full minute about being asked about applying for a credit card. In previous visits it was difficult to get help with jewelry or in the changing room. But someone will swoop in within seconds of me looking at items to make me stop or to get a credit card. I will not be wasting my time in this particular store again, there's plenty...
