I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I brought my truck in for a simple radio installation, and shortly after, my truck completely shut off while driving. All the warning lights came on, the gauges spiked, and it died in the middle of the road.

We had it towed to a certified mechanic who confirmed the issue was caused by the installation — wiring that should not have been altered was changed, leading to an electrical failure. When I contacted the shop, they denied any responsibility even though the mechanic’s assessment clearly pointed to the radio wiring as the cause.

This mistake left me stranded, without a working vehicle, and now dealing with repair costs that should never have existed. I strongly recommend that anyone considering services here get clear proof of what is being done and think twice before trusting them with your vehicle’s electrical system.

I’m hoping they take accountability and reimburse the damages caused, but until then, I cannot recommend them. Customers deserve a shop that values honesty and takes responsibility when they...

I went to Gorilla Sounds today with an issue with my stereo that I purchased from another business. My stereo was not functioning properly. The sound was not coming in clear. The business I purchased and had installation done at was not and would not make things right. Even though the system and installation cost me, $2,000. They since have gone out of business. No surprise to me. Someone recommended Gorilla Sounds to me. I went there and Edgar worked on things and found that I had a bad cable. The wire had come loose and the other place couldn’t figure that out for me?? Edgar figured it out right away for me and replaced the cable. I now have music in my Jeep! Thank you Edgar for working efficiently and for your honesty! He could have ripped me off and told me I bought a bad stereo, etc But, he didn’t! He replaced the cable and also spent time showing me how to program and use my stereo. Thank you Edgar and Gorilla Sounds! I will highly recommend your business...

I went get a head unit and backup camera and flip down tv put in ....my own equipment quoted a price came back they act like he did not remember me!! I was just there 2 days before!!! $65 for the head unit & $300 for the camera and flip down ...Go to get it done $75 for headunit $250 for the flip down and $200 for the camera ...now I said ok cause money ain't the problem if its done right .... Pulls my car in start put the headunit in then tell me he can't the tv in cause of the rear sunroof now i am looking at 500 to 700 to install... I said never mine I will do it my self ...they tried to over charge me 2 times . I ended up going on newyork and summer to sound quest $210 for flip down and camera ....They sell the same stuff as everyone else and there skills are no better so why so much money....Stay away bad business...
