Veterans Island Park — Attraction in Aurora Township

This is one of the most beautiful park I've ever visited in Chicago! It's have a very nice ,clean environment with many different kinds of flowers and medicinal plants and beautiful small hill where you can have a superb views of the golf yard with beautiful sun rise and sunset ! You have to lay five doller for entrance fee! But it's worth it! It's visited by many people as it gives us a whole different feelings and to see the beauty of the nature . On a weekday during the school week, it was very peaceful here. Great place to just hang out and look at the river, eat lunch and if you brought one, launch your kayak, canoe or whatever on to the river. Sailboats would not be recommended since there are a bunch of bridges way too low for sailboats mast...
