It is very disappointing that they are charging service fees without letting the customer know before deciding to sit down and eat. I understand that it is a curiosity to tip the waitress but to be sneaky about it is bad. At the time of paying, I noticed the charge of 15% charge. When asked on the charge, I received a response that it has a charge of 15% on parties of three and over. I questioned on the charge for one adult and two children is considered three. The response of associate Carmen was that it is a valid charge because the dish ordered was an adult plate. So now, the service fee is based on ordered plate? When I requested the manager in charge, associate Carmen called her manager Vanessa. The manager (Vanessa) told her to tell me that it is the customer's responsibility to read the fine print. Wow what a horrible customer service. So now having customers come in with the intention of supporting your small business treated like the business is doing the customer a favor is just crazy. Since when does a business under value the customer and now thinks its the customer's responsibility to maintain a business going? Please save yourself a 15% fee on an unethical business that doesn't value their customers. I will definitely not be returning this location again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. I came back after 2023 of may the service is okay not that great and all I want to know is why u guys are charging a 12 fee for service??? My food was tasteless and no flavor !!! It suppose to be a byob (bring your own beer ) service to come to find out the only let us bring two beers instead the whole 6 pack the food is so over priced and nasty ! Yes it was nasty like I said no flavor and overly priced for horrible sea food ! Don’t come here it nasty I dont know who the owner is !! And whoever they are fix up this place and make ur food more with flavor should just went down the street to the new seafood restaurant el captain !!! Tbh ! They sneakily charge u for service bill was $80 all came out to be almost 100 bucks of nasty sea food !!! Atleast warn people instead of sneakily charging them for trashy sea food ! Be aware they do sneakily charge u for service had to lower the tip on the waitress those 12 bucks could of been for her atleast tbh!! My $19 bowl of salty-water tasting seafood soup had some nice fish, a couple split langostino and a bunch of good sized whole shrimp. And it was really piping hot. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the shrimp: It wasn't cleaned! I'm not Mexican but I've been going to Nayarit MX for a couple months every year for 20+ years and have never been served UNcleaned shrimp in any restaurant or by any street vendor. So after removing the shrimp I asked for a cup of rice to put in the soup. No can do...have to buy a side of rice for $3.75. OK because I want to eat the fish and get some flavor into the salty water broth.

So, for $29.57 ($22.57 +tax +tip) I had an OK bowl of fish and rice soup.

THIS PLACE IS WAY OVER PRICED!

Siento, but we're not going back! There are too many other Mexican restaurants in Aurora that serve really good food at reasonable prices.
