I had 2 issues out of the 3 times I went here. 1 was resolved. 1 was not. Customer service employees had a poor attitude and clearly do not care about their job performance or helping people. Just their paycheckâŚ
The issue that was not resolved was over a LEGO set that had a $10 gift card with purchase. It did not ring up correctly. The customer service employee said it was not for the set I purchased without knowing what set I even bought. Then she said she would honor it if it was âpriced incorrectlyâ. I purchased the last item available, so of course when she went back to the isle with me she said it was not âincorrectly pricedâ saying it came with a gift card and wouldnât honor it.
I showed the customer service employee my phone showing the set was on sale with the $10 gift card. She said that it was an online only promotion (which I had never heard of and sure enough was bs) I called Target customer support 1800 number. I was told I had to go back to the store. Thatâs how wrong and ignorant she was.
I went to the Batavia Target location instead the next day instead and they DID fix my issue and apologized, however, it was not their fault, it was this locations fault. Also, the employees should know the current ads and sales⌠especially working customer service. I know itâs hard to get quality employees right now but wow..
The other issue I had was resolved after waiting over 40 minutes for my item I ordered to be found. There were 2 girls pulling orders together for whatever reason working as inefficiently as possible and didnât say a thing to me after helping customers that arrived after me for the next 30 minutes. Then I was the only car. Still the 2 âtag team employeesâ had not acknowledged me. They didnât say my order was being pulled or anything- just left me in my car waiting in the pickup order spot. I checked in correctly. I checked in on the way to the store and then again when I arrived with my pickup order parking spot number.
Finally a guy came out and asked if the 2 employees told me what happened. I said no. He was very apologetic and explained my item was missing and he was looking for it. He actually did help and found the item in the next 10 minutes. He brought it out and gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. It was not $5 but it was something and was better than the 2 useless employees that said nothing. SMH The Batavia location is MUCH better. Like night & day from location to location. If not for the employee that found my item and actually helped me I would give this location 1 star. But he bumped it to 2âŚ
I DONâT KNOW WHO THE DISTRICT MANAGER IS, but they should be made aware of the poor customer service from this location and the great service from the Batavia location. And I am sure they can figure out how to improve this locations...
   Read moreIf a promotion is advertised in store, you should be able to access the sale while shopping in the store. Apparently I am supposed to scan every sale with my app and read the fine print. No where on this sign does it say "Pickup order or Same Day Delivery Only."
Im out the 20 dollar gift card from the last daiper promotion because of this same confusion with the signs. The app tells you that the gift card will be applied to your circle app once purchase is fufilled, so here I am thinking that if I type in my circle number at check out, my gift card appears in my wallet. NOT TRUE if you buy in store. As a mom who has to do her shopping with kids in tow, having the sales be more straight forward and not having to look up every single one to read the fine print would be really nice. Tried to price match a couple of items from Amazon and I was told they couldn't price match it because it was "Amazon Prime" I told them that Amazon prime just means that it qualifies for free shipping if you have Amazon prime. Another customer service clerk chimed in and said that it was like a "sam's club membership" I showed them that I was not signed in to an Amazon account and that the item was not an exclusive prime deal. If you can't price match an item that's shipped and sold by Amazon and you can't price match third party vendors on Amazon, then how do you price match Amazon at all? It is definitely listed as a site that gets price matched. The 2 ladies at customer service are not the brightest apparently l. Oh well, I ordered 3 of those items on Amazon.
