I can not say enough of how good Rasmussen Aurora/Naperville is. They challenge you to be the best you can be they have awesome instructors that will wok with you to learn the information to make you a great nurse. The Labs rock they are challenging but you learn so much. Without Rasmussen's Great program I would have never gotten through the new Gen-NCLEX and I would have never blown it away like I did. I would have never had the confidence to go in to that testing room and have no fear unlike others from other schools that I talked to in the waiting room freaking out about the test. I felt so prepared and was not intimated on the procedure because I felt as if I was just taking a test at the school because it was the same rules about signing in taking all your personal belongings off like smart watches and all it was awesome to be so prepared and because of Rasmussen I can lift my head high and say now I am officially a R.N. which has been a dream of mine for 23 years and I went to two other schools that did not care about me just the money and did not spend the time helping me and just failed me out and said good by with no feeling but at Rasmussen I felt like not only did they care if I passed but they cared if I succussed in my career and life and it was like a big family from the students to the instructors to the dean and student advisors because they promote a safe and caring environment of teamwork where everyone feels like they belong. ALL I CAN SAY IS THANKYOU RASMUSSEN AURORA/NAPERVILLE WE DID IT AND I AM NOW AND EVER WILL BE A...
Read moreProfessor Waite is an amazing nursing teacher who made our learning experience so much better with her unique methods. From day one, we dove right into real nursing shifts instead of starting slowly. She gave us these custom-made packets filled with labs, EKGs, and other crucial data to review. This helped us see where we were on track or not, making us comfortable with making mistakes and learning from them. We then applied these lessons to our clinical practice the following week.
Her approach to teaching reports was super effective. We learned how to document everything correctly, which boosted our skills and confidence in clinical settings. She didn't just make us memorize stuff; she taught us to think critically. Group case studies helped us make decisions and explain our thinking, preparing us for real-world nursing challenges. The packets, with patient info and data, made us think critically about how our choices impacted patient care, helping us connect the dots.
We also got to apply what we learned each week to real-life patients, reinforcing our knowledge through hands-on experience. Professor Waite encouraged us to reflect on our clinical experiences and learn continuously.
In short, Professor Waite transforms students into competent and confident nurses. Her clinical rotations provided the skills and mindset needed for both exams and real-world nursing. Her expertise, innovative methods, and dedication to student growth make her an exemplary figure in nursing education. I felt really lucky to have her as my...

Heather contribution throughout this course has been invaluable, transcending what words can capture. Exceptional in her knowledge and skills, she embodies what it means to be a phenomenal nurse, showcasing a depth of understanding that seems to encompass almost every facet of nursing (and I say this with a sense of awe and a bit of humor, lol). Her commitment to student learning goes far beyond the ordinary; Heather meticulously ensures that every student thoroughly comprehends the material, demonstrating an uncommon dedication to education. Her willingness to allocate time from her already packed schedule stands as a testament to her dedication to our success. Heather's approach is not just about teaching; it's about nurturing future nurses who are confident and competent. During clinical rotations, her guidance becomes even more palpable. She doesn't just oversee our hands-on patient care experiences-she enriches them by highlighting the key dos and don'ts, ensuring we understand the rationale behind each action and decision. This not only enhances our practical skills but deepens our professional judgment and ethical compass. In sum, Heather's influence on our educational journey is profound, offering both a foundation and a beacon, guiding us toward excellence in...
