Slick City Action Park — Attraction in Aurora Township

I had my child’s 7th birthday party here, so I’ll review the establishment then the party.

Venue is new within the year so it’s clean and nothing is broken ur beat up. There are many slide options for varying comfort levels. There is even a trampoline basketball court section and a small kids jungle gym area. Everyone in my group including myself was very impressed upon arrival and only more impressed by the time we left. 10/10 highly recommend. It got a little crowded by 1, which is to be expected in winter on a Saturday.

Party review: we did the deluxe option. It was similarly priced as other places, I believe even $40/$50 less, but it included more for the kids. Parents were also able to participate. Our party hostess Julisa was GREAT! She communicated well with me to ensure everything flowed well and she made sure that our needs were meet, and speedily too. She maintained a smile and upbeat demeanor the entire time. I’ve had hosts that lacked common sense, Not Julisa!! She dealt with me having “mom party brain” and picked up some of my slack. I can’t stress how nice it was to have her along the way. The pizza was actually good and it was nice not to have to worry about setting the table or cleaning my it all up. TOTALLY worth the money and can’t wait to return outside of the party! The ladies at the front desk for sweet helpful as well. Even the snack bar crew were happy. Such a an amazing time. It was crowded but all slides and rides were a short less than two minute wait. I suggest you go if you've never been. We got the 2 hour slot and we used every single minute.

Today, 4/17/2025 (1-3 hour slot)there was a fire drill. The alarm started to sound and we had to exit. Lots of people left. After about 5 minutes we were allowed back in.

One of the workers explained that the fire department was doing a test and didn't alert them.

In the grand scheme of things we got out of there in a timely fashion.

The part I didn't like about this was that some children were leaving their mats on the steps while people were still trying to go down said steps. I had my little guy's hand but being in a rush, not knowing what was going on and slipping on a mat going down the stairs was a disaster waiting to happen.

There were some of us outside in our socks because if there was a fire the shoes that were in lockers were the least of our worries.

Oh and the last thing that wasn't that big of a deal but irked me nonetheless was the lockers. We booked the 2 hour slot but the lockers started at 3 hours and up. So if you choose the 1 or 1.5 hour slot you'll still be responsible for 3 hours when it comes to the locker. Again, not a big deal but....

Overall it's pretty fun. Depending on where you live the drive is far but worth it. I cannot speak on the under 4...

This is hands down the best place for a kid’s birthday party. Today was our daughter’s 5 birthday - Kiyla and the team went out of their way to make it a successful and memorable event for our daughter and 60+ guests. Kiyla took the time to give guests a run down of the place, took care of waivers/socks/wristbands, accommodated our somewhat complicated food requests, and served pizza and cake to our guests. She took care of utensils, drinks, food, and overall timing of the event, so we really didn’t have to do much more than show up and enjoy the party. Their pizza was excellent and the icees were also a nice touch.

Both kids and adults enjoyed the slides. There are slower slides for the timid riders and deeper slopes for the more adventurous riders. The place also includes some bounce house type basketball courts and swings. There is also an area for kids 5 and under with a fun net maze, a bounce area, swings, and a jungle gym with smaller slides for young kids. There really is something for everyone here.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we’ll definitely be back. Many of our guests commented on how much fun they had and how friendly/helpful the staff was. Thanks to the entire Leadership Team and Staff...
