We are from out of town visiting my friend’s sister. He wanted to get her a late birthday present. The Big Green Egg. We stood in that department for some time waiting for someone to ask us if we wanted some help. We both needed a restroom and decided to go look for that. We came to a door that said no public restrooms. So we decided to go find public facilities. McDonalds was across the parking lot.
On our way out the two cashiers looked at us but no one spoke. No one ever spoke to us.
We went on to McDonalds AND got breakfast. We decided to look a bit further for another Ace Hardware and discovered one even closer to his sister. The Big Tool Box.
Upon entering the door at the Big Tool Box Ace Hardware again we were met with the Big Green Eggs to the right of the entrance but THIS time a super friendly young man with helpers who promptly were able to put together the Big Green Egg experience for my friend’s sister. $1300.00 was spent. He was prepared to spend $2000 or more. So he was happy too! With delivery etc and not having to lift his purchase due to a recent surgery. Very happy!
Check out the reviews is a really good suggestion. Maybe this particular location is good for you?

Spoke to a lady who answered the phone could barely understand her because she was speaking so fast as if to get off the phone quicker. Transferred me to another guy who was ambiguous about prices for copying keys I specifically said that had a fob on it not just like a regular key I understand if it's a non fob key it's going to be cheaper. So once I mentioned the fob he should have given me the range for fob prices and not the regular keys. I wanted to like that store since it's a new store in the area and I like to help out local businesses and I hear some of those aces are privately owned but they should make an effort to at least be friendly and live up to their motto Ace is the place with the friendly hardware man. I'll be going to the Ace a little further down the road. Looking at the reviews from other people that seems to be consistent problem with customer service either their trainer needs to be retrained or the owner needs to step in and make the changes necessary if that stores to...

I went in looking for seasoning, and one of the male associates was extremely helpful. He gave me great recommendations and even took the time to help me look for a part for my grill. However, when I got to the register to check out, I attempted to use a valid $5 off $30 coupon from the Ace Hardware app, but it wouldn’t go through.
The young lady at the register called for assistance, but the manager who came over was very nonchalant and made no effort to resolve the issue. Despite the coupon being valid, they refused to honor it, and the situation was handled poorly.
Because of that interaction, I won’t be returning to this store. It’s disappointing when good service from an associate is overshadowed by poor leadership at...
