Today on 10/08/2022 I Kaiylynn Marie Davis came into yalls emergency room in excruciating pain due to my disease Sickle Cell. Upon my arrival I was very nervous and skeptical about coming here because I've never been to another hospital facility outside of my hometown which is Chino Hills, CA. With that being said I would like to take the time to show my gratitude towards the people who not only helped me but made me feel comfortable. Doctor Diehl, Your amazing! Your words of comfort really lifted a heavy burden off my shoulders, u knew how to treat my disease and talk me thru my treatment, you listened to me, and most of all u got my pain under control, your great and I'll NEVER forget u! R.N Nurses .... Mrs Kim and Mrs Martha and Mrs Dawn, The patients and willingness you guys had with me while trying to start an IV on me is unmatched, u guys didn't give up. Yall made sure I had what I needed to in order to receive my medication and again I'm thankful. E.DTechs.... Elizabeth and Crystal I couldn't leave u guys out without showing my appreciation , Yall came anytime I pressed my button needing assistance. We need more nurse, techs, and , doctors like yall in the world. Im just humble and happy by way I was treated in yalls E.R today. I can not say enough good things about the staff here. I have lived in cities that had multiple larger hospitals to choose from and I have never seen a hospital with such a good staff. Unfortunately, my family has needed to use the emergency room here a couple times this year. The staff has always been professional, caring, and, compassionate. From the gentleman who checked us in at arrival to the nurses, doctors, and techs, we have interacted with have been great. I had to take my son in last night for his appendix. The gentleman at check in was efficient and helpful which helped to reduce my stress. The nurses and technicians who provided his care were professional and caring. They took the time to make sure that we understood and were comfortable with what was going on while still providing efficient professional care to my son. The doctor that took care of my son was great as well. He had a calming demeanor and displayed a high level of expertise. He even took the time to follow-up with me later to let me know some test results and make sure I knew what to do with that information. My husband was here for pneumonia and first off the doctor was amazing and a nurse named Susan was amazing. My husband had a nurse here named Crystal who not only ignored his 102 fever, refused to give him another blanket and then was extremely rude the whole time to him after he told on her. This all made my husband want to leave they admitted him for 24 hours which he stayed over night there. They fed him nasty tomato soup and crackers for dinner. My husband still has a high fever that meds won't keep down unless he takes alot of it. So he called up there to see if they would send him a script of ibrophen and they refused trying to treat him like a crackhead when he's only asking for ibrophen. They said since he left early they won't prescribe him any even though my husband was admitted 24 hours, his white blood count was 3 times higher then a regular person. Some staff are very friendly but majority are rude and don't care about their patients.
