So, had a few customers yesterday that everyone accept one server refuses to wait on because they are rude and disrespectful and complain about the food and price of everything EVERY TIME they come in. I waited on them, did my job, but was strictly business not my normal fun self. I just want to say, just because we are servers does not mean customers have the right to be rude and hateful. We have been told by these particular customers that they will not return to our restaurant the last three times they have come in. Well? You are still coming in, why? You have now lost the ONE server who will wait on you. Also let me add, if you cannot pay or want to complain about the cost, then buy a thing of coffee and make it at home yourself! We lose money every time you come in with the amount of sugar, creamers and coffee you drink anyway. Fyi, the servers that worked yesterday are VERY liked by 99.9% of the restaurants customers. I love my job, love the owner and his family and love our customers and will continue to do my job with enthusiasm but I give respect when I get respect! Aurora Family Restaurant has great food, good prices, great owners, huge servings, great employees and the best customers that will get great service as long as they are respectful.

If you're looking for a great place to eat in town, Aurora Family Restaurant should definitely be on your list! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the friendly staff. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, which made me feel comfortable right away.

But the real star of the show was the food! It was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and full of flavor. I was impressed with the variety of options on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

What really stood out to me, however, was the dedication and hard work of the owners. They clearly take pride in their restaurant and go above and beyond to make sure that their guests have an enjoyable experience. It's rare to see that level of commitment these days.

I am writing this review as we are traveling through on a Friday and experienced a family breakfast here. This is a quaint diner with your classic breakfast platters complimented by pies, pies, pies! Lemon Meringue has it spot on with the fresh squeeze of lemons hitting it like it was made that day- crust is superb. Coconut cream is lovely as well. I’m mainly going to rave on Miss Colleen on this post. I do believe she must radiate a special connection with most all her guests. This sweet lady has a service of hospitality that surpasses I’d say any we’ve encountered in months and months. She was attentive to our family of five and had us believing she truly enjoyed our presence this morning, as we did hers.
