Sutherlands — Local services in Aurora

If I could give this place a negative star I would over and over! People need to know what they’re dealing with before they spend thousands dollars here. I spent over 1k and for me that’s a lot to spend on furniture but we thought we were getting a deal, little did we know the lack of professionalism that came with the price. Wrong couch brought- delayed delayed delayed delivery NO apologies for their mistake. I took off work MULTIPLE times missing out on making money to be here when they deliver and 2/3 was a waste of time! 3rd attempts the charm I guess. The owner or manager said I can pick it up and he’d return the delivery fee, no I paid you need to deliver. Such a small town I assumed they’re a name brand location their service would be more proper. No. Don’t waste your time.

Ps one of my cushions was torn from the start. I just wouldn’t even trust this company. And I felt everyone should be warned!!

Update: I kept declining to the pushy gentleman trying to get me to buy insurance on my couch that was over $200 on top of the $1100 I didn’t want to spend there in the first place. Couch has had cover on it the entire time so why is the stitching already coming undone? To have a laugh? Who knows. Another reason I would rethink ever shopping here...

Bought chain saw today broke on first cut. Chain tensioner gave in, I have never seen this happen in all my years obviously a manufacturing issue. Any one that has ran a Stihl knows this. Took it back was told they would not return or replace. They informed me they could send it off to have it fixed to keep crew working I had to go buy another saw. The problem is I bought a product it was crap and they refused to replace with in one hour of purchase. That’s not only bad business but morally not right. I’ll be visiting with Mike the manager tomorrow they called him twice today to find a solution. His response was I can’t help you. But that was second hand. Hope with recipe and talking in person management does the right thing I’ll update if they do but for now. I would never shop here again as a developer in the area we won’t be using Sutherlands for any of our tools and...

Update : Corporate GM contacted us and will be rectifying the situation. He was very professional and ordered our metal for us. Still don’t care for the managers attitude by satisfied so the resolution and will continue to shop locally.

We have spent thousands in the last several months. We ordered some metal for a building and had too many sheets and needed to return and get some metal trim. Manager would not order anything else because we returned a 38 dollar piece of metal. So our building cannot be completed. We were never told we could not return custom orders and would not have done so again. Same manager stood by while we ordered these sheets knowing we were under the impression they were 4ft wide and didn’t say a thing.
