Brentwood Neighborhood Pool — Local services in Austin

The pool is fine, but I'm getting tired of summer after summer this pool's open and closed hours being entirely unpredictable and unreliable. The parks website and the hours on google are never updated to the reality of whether they are open. Last summer they were constantly closing for broken glass or fluctuations in chlorine levels. Today was supposed to be the first day open, according to the parks website and the pool's google hours, and once again they are closed (no explanation, just several lifeguards in the vicinity saying they are closed). Friends paid to have their kid's birthday here and after only about 5 minutes the staff forced everyone out of the pool so they could test the water.
