I love my HEB but not this site and location! Absolutely the worst HEB that Iâve ever experienced! First and foremost their customer service leaves a lot to be desired! I waited for a seafood employee to acknowledge my existence at least 3-5 minutes before she finally asked me how could she help me and I was the only one in line! I am new to the neighborhood so I asked to sample one of their pricest cooked shrimp before I purchased 2lbs at almost $13 lb! I had to get a manager to grant me permission because the rude employee refused! I told them that the: Pflugerville, Wells Branch, Mueller and even N. Lamar whenever I am in the area allowed me to do this until I established a relationship with them, which is usually upon my first and last one shrimp sample! The Spice Woods or Spice Springs location often will just give me a sample unnecessarily even though I have long established that my shrimp is guaranteed to be good and not fishy with them! Though the shrimp was good still the following also makes this the worst HEB: Poor customer service, poor variety of vitamins no liquid vitamins, poor selection of wine! I purchased a box of Franzia and itâs flat! Dark grapes not the freshest as I am accustomed to HEB having, no lemon Oreo cookies, poor selection of plants and flowers, but what they do offer is pricey! Whole loaves of Country White bread, no loaves of Sour Dough bread! If I had to write the list of things that I canât get from this HEB site and how old some of the shelf bought items are that they do have Iâd probably be typing all evening! This site does not represent the HEB that I love, not even close! Happy with my new neighborhood but unhappy...
Read moreI will say love the store love the diversity in product's to food everything is nice and fresh but the parts that need fixing is the workers I've seen 3 times will ask people to form a line next to the rope but will you do it when there is 5 people now you have have customers trying to get back in the line they were standing in and now you have made everyone slightly agitated which could of been avoided it would help if they weren't in the middle of the area where people bag and stare towards the side of the store where people who have more items and have to have people scan their items for them I think self checkout should be focused on self checkout stuff and not cashier things worry about taking care of you're customers handing bags and being vigilante to help those who need it second thing during the night why would you close the far end doors and make people come to where people are trying to leave not only are you causing people to almost awkwardly crash into each other but getting people in and out quickly should be key as well as people who come in at night arnt gonna be getting Alot of items I understand shutting some registers down but why more than half not saying have them all open but the less self checkout station's open the less people are gonna be leaving and the longer the...
Read moreH-E-B is hands down the best grocery store in Texas, and every visit reminds me why it has such a loyal following. From the moment you walk in, the store feels bright, clean, and well-organized, making shopping a pleasant experience instead of a chore. The produce section is outstandingâalways fresh, colorful, and stocked with both everyday staples and seasonal, locally sourced options.
What really sets H-E-B apart is the variety. Whether youâre looking for organic, international, or specialty items, youâll find them here. Their store brands are fantastic, often matching or even surpassing the quality of national brands at a lower price. The bakery and deli sections are top-notch as well, offering fresh bread, pastries, and ready-to-go meals that taste homemade. The meat and seafood counters are another highlight, with plenty of quality choices at fair prices.
Customer service is consistently excellent. The employees are friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about making your experience a good one. Checkout is efficient, even during busy times, and self-checkout lanes are well-monitored to keep things moving.
On top of all that, H-E-B feels like it invests in the community, carrying local products and supporting Texas brands. Itâs more than a grocery storeâitâs a part of...
