This is an indoor flea market in Texas - if that didn't catch your eye at first think about these facts A) it's usually really hot to walk around outside to do anything let alone shopping, and B) Texas has heat waves and it's usually really hot to do anything. OK! That being said this flea market is one of the best to walk around and browse for cheap items and gifts. I have seen TOMS shoes here in one vendor area for $30 brand new! There is a tattoo shop here too that is always busy as well as tasty small vendors that sell fruit, mexican snacks, nachos, & tortas too. I come here to get my eyebrows threaded for less than $8! Live music and dancing is happening right next door in the venue space next to the market area. There is always fun moon bounces and games to play when the venue next...

There’s a vendor in the parking lot here that sells really good barbacoa (a style of slow cooking meat popular in Mexico) tacos, and you can choose from meats such as goat and beef. I tried two barbacoa goat tacos and an horchata (rice/cinnamon drink) for about $7 before tip. This is as authentic Mexican barbacoa as I’ve had in all of austin - and I’ve had it in Mexico itself. They nailed it with the quality of the meat and the spices used in the barbacoa. Service was a bit slow (10mins) on this Sunday morning but its honestly worth the wait if you want authentic Mexican barbacoa. Lastly, the price is decent considering what I normally pay for two tacos at the taco...
