I felt obligated to do a review considering that the last person didn’t even get in the pool. I’ve been going to this pool since I was a little kid as it’s right in my neighborhood. It’s a small pool for sure. It has one lap lane and goes from 2 to 5 feet deep. There is also a baby pool, BUT I believe that it only opens at 11AM whereas the big pool opens earlier. Patterson Pool gets busy in the afternoon, the neighborhood hotspot for families. At other times, it’s very empty. I’ve only once had to wait one time to swim laps. Great for a leisurely soak! 20 yard lap pool that is pretty shallow (from 3 to 5 feet), but it’s well maintained and clean. There is pretty much no shade for the lap pool at any given moment, but the wading pool for kids does have a shade structure. I definitely recommend wearing and bringing plenty of sun protection.
My nitpicks: the shower to rinse off wasn’t working when I was there (June 2024), and the jets in the pool were so strong that it felt like I was fighting against them in the water…which might have made my swim a better workout.
