EDIT: He moved to Mueller on Airport Blvd. Located at the corner of Bolm and Springdale, Hippy Eats is a quiet refuge from the overly car-riddled areas of the rest of Austin. The food park is so quiet. It's so close to the Southern Walnut Creek trail so after a good ride, walk, or run, the Hibiscus-Lemon-Rose Water tea will cool ya down. The pita and hummus (oh, hummus and pita lol) is so simple and yum and there's so much hummus to do a huge dip-and-scoop with each piece of pita. The Thai salad is so daggone fresh! So regretful it took me 3 years of north Austin living to try it. Don't be big dumb like me and go to Hippy Eats!

I was sent for work here in Austin from the Waco area and found this gem. Since I'm on a restrictive diet, I googled and found Hippy Eats! I have never had a falafel before but was not disappointed. Jason was nice and easy to talk to and went above and beyond in every aspect of the experience. He even enhanced my falafel with extras (we'll call it a secret menu item for now). The smell of the food from the ride back to work was delicious and the taste was great as well. Thank you Jason for the Austin falafel experience!

Came here because we wanted to go to the coffee truck next door but they had just closed. The person working here was so kind and friendly and made me and my partner a regular and horchata latte. I think it was so awesome that he took the time to make these drinks for us and the flavor of the horchata was unique and delicious. On top of that, his personality put a smile on our faces. I can't wait to go back and try all their food.

I ordered the falafel platter, halva smoothie, and cookie/date/walnut plate. The platter is flavorful, neatly and sustainably packaged, and hits the spot. I appreciate that the falafel is air fried. All homemade and you can taste it. It’s all thoughtfully prepared. The reason I actually was drawn in was the cookie/walnut/date combo. A dessert I won’t feel terrible about that is basically “girl dinner” — a couple of yummy things that will satisfy the sweet tooth craving but I can still feel good about it? I’m in. Also, you gotta get the Halva Creamer/Smoothie. Seriously delicious. Flavorful, nutritious, just good food that you can feel good about eating. Feels like old Austin, man. New...

Happened upon this little GEM of a place by accident. My Fiance and I were headed to the tex mex across the street but we're very disappointed with the smell and service, so we left and walked across the street to the little food truck at a place called Springdale Food Park. Jason, the owner I assume of Hippy Eats was just a real pleasure to speak with and after a few minutes we decided to share the falafel platter and the Almond Horchata. It had the BEST hummus and pita bread we have had in the Austin area so far and everything else just was top notch. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want some HIGH QUALITY food as well as HIGH...
